So many people die from obesity. Seat belt laws exist under the premise that they save lives. Why can't make it illegal to be fat for the same reasons?

You vote republican and support this man who made sure he never saw any combat when he was in the military and then when you keep getting called up to back to Iraq 2,3, or more times, you complain about going. None of you were drafted, this is an all volunteer military and I always see you people stomping and cheering for George Bush whenever he is speaking to the military. This is exactly what you voted for. The continuation of the war and the support of George W. Bush's policies on the war. Then when you are asked to keep doing your job, which is to protect the United States, you complain. Why do you keep supporting this guy. I do see that most Iraqi veterans that run for political office are running as Democrats. Why's that? Do the people in the military get smarter after they get out. By the way I am a Viet Nam veteran that served with the First Cavalry Division in Viet Nam, under the command of George Casey, the father of your present commander in Iraq, George Casey, Jr.

Argue On Behalf Of Native Americans
With The Excuse That
Americans Stole The Land From Them ??

If The Injun Nation Still Has Such A Problem
After All These Decades,
Wouldn't They Be On The Warpath Themselves??

In Fact, The Injuns Are Standing WITH American Citizens
AGAINST ILLEGAL Aliens In Our / Their Nation

My Question :

Why Does The Hispanic / Latino / Mexicano Community
Continue To Throw That In Our Faces
As An Excuse For ILLEGAL Immigration ??

I'll be able to vote in a few years and look forward to making a difference but has the Royal Mail got it's act together yet because when my Dad went down to vote last time, the whole block had already voted by post.

If you get it from a one sided source do you ever look for the other side? If you do, do you ever choose which side you agree with and discard the other side as not reliable? What sense does that make if you're only looking to what you agree with?

My opinion follows. I respect your opinion. PA is the most conservative red state ever, (GO W.) but with that pocket of filth along Western Jew Jersey, otherwise known as Philly, we always vote demorcrat. I am sure everyone in the state is aware of a few things. The whole state it Steeler County, the only philly fans are from Philly and Everyone in the state thinks like I do except people from Philly. We'll still keep Will Smith and Bill Cosby though. You can have Rendell and The Caseys.

After hurricane Katrina, Bush went to New Orleans and told the FEMA director,
"You're doing a heck of a job Brownie".
Bush was later ridiculed for that statement.

Last week, Rockey Vaccarella drove all the way from New Orleans to the white house towing a replica FEMA trailer just to tell the president, "He was doing a heck of a job".

Do you think Rockey will face the same kind of ridicule that Bush faced for making that statement? Or maybe, Rockey just pulled a fast one on the White House.

I wonder if Bush ever considered the anology?

I really liked the idea that public schools should require one "World's Religions" class. This would be offensive to some but no more offensive than "Greek Mythology" being taught to people like me who couldn't care less.

If someone is here illegally, has been here for years, pays taxes with a valid social card obtained without document fraud (it is possible) and has not committed any crimes (aside from being here illegally), should they be deported?
BTW, This is not a hypothetical situation.

Republicans often on here go on and on about the "hand outs" that government does... yet their leaders haven't done anything about it with the majority and presidency?

they've passed MANY bills that didn't have any Democrat support with few Democrats putting up a fight? so why don't they get rid of the "handouts" or at least improve the program? I doubt Democrats would even fillabuster, but even if they did, you don't know until you try? wouldn't it be worth the effort? (you guys voted on a gay marriage bill that had NO chance of passing, why not this too?)

H*ll, there was more work to "improve" the program under Clinton than under the current administration?
