coragryph: People 'Ignore' your lists because none of the 'rights' you list has been violated.
Clinton was impeached for perjury. He lied under oath in lawsuit. The issue he lied about was directly related to the lawsuit.
Bush did not lie about the reasons for war. ONE of the many reasons he gave MAY have been based on inaccurate intelligence, but every know intelligence agency agreed with that intelligence. Most of the so called 'lies' are things he never said. Many are the opposite of what he actually said.

Many people are so entrenched in their point of view they refuse to acknowledge that degree of guilt and seriousness of the crime do play a role in the punishment, or should, at any rate. In the minds of liberals and Democrats, Clinton's crime was a misdemeanor, compared to Bush's felony in lying to the populace to gain his ends. Conservatives generally believe the ends justifies the means. Most liberals do not.
Aside to Leogirl:, how about the right to not be forced into illegal searches and seizures? You know, the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution?
Here it is for you:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
The NSA even has a secret court they can go to to get a warrant days or weeks AFTER they do it, and didn't do it because they were aware it may have been denied.

Why are people so concerned about the lies Bush has (or has not) told. That's like worrying about whether you'll get your carpet wet from the firehoses after your house has burned down.
Bush has publicly admitted to committing willful violations of federal law, including hundreds of counts of war crimes. And this has been confirmed by federal courts, including the Supreme Court.
But apparently, enough people don't care anymore about the rule of law, or have any expectation that elected officials will follow it. Which is sad, because that's exactly what our enemies were hoping to achieve -- the abandonment of the core values this country was founded upon.
{EDIT to LeoGirl} You keep asking for a list of what rights have been taken away or infringed. But every time someone presents you with the list, you seem to ignore or discount it.
Seems like your statement isn't really intended as a request for information, but rather an assertion of deliberate blindness. Or maybe you're just unwilling to accept any truth that does not conform to whatever conclusions you have already reached.
{EDIT to StevenF} I never said anything about Bush lying. But I did cite the sections of the US Code that he admitted violating.
As far as rights violations, I've also cited dozens of court cases where Bush has ordered actions in violations of Article I Section 9, Article III, Article IV, and the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th Amendments. But if you've already made up your mind and you simply don't care what the courts think or what the Constitution says, then I've made by earlier point.

There maybe many people who would wish to impeach Bush and who believe what he has done is immoral and illegal, but the congress has to start impeachment proceedings and it is controlled by the Republicans. They will not impeach him unless inrefutable proof is given such that they would have no choice but to impeach. The American public is basically numb to the corruption of the government, they are no longer surprised and take longer to react. Also everyone is afraid of being attacked and are constantly told we will be attacked.
So maybe it all boils down to a combination of greed for power and fear.

I have asked the same question in regard to Clinton. One of my answers to that one was, He is not the Pope or a religious leader.
He is a male politician. Yes I believe in morality in all people, but you aint going to get it.
I am not going to bash Bush either.
I didn't vote for him.
But I happen to be one of those rare patriotic Americans who believe once you have a guy in the oval office do everything you can to support him, or her.
When the next political campaign comes along , work hard with your party to vote the guy out.
I am getting tired of Americans bashing Americans.
There are enough terrorists to go around. Lets get together and bash them good.
Oh before you think I am not patriotic, have served in the United States Army, and the United States Navy. Also a veteran of foriegn wars.

American companies do deport unlawful immigrants each and every day. even nonetheless illegals who're deported (expenses paid by ability of taxpayers) understand that deportation is the worst that would take place to them, so as that they only return to the U. S. as quickly as and back. government companies in basic terms have not got the supplies or the manpower to effectively shop illegals from getting into the U. S.. There might desire to be dozens or hundreds of unlawful immigrants according to government agent engaged on retaining illegals from US soil. it fairly is only an theory of mine, even nonetheless i think of that Democrats turn a blind eye to unlawful immigration because of the fact they want to make balloting voters out of them, and for glaring motives they might grow to be Democrats. possibly an intensive inner examine interior the political ranks might desire to help decrease off the main leaders who propagate this cycle. even nonetheless there continues to be lots extra that desires to be executed with the intention to stop or a minimum of decrease unlawful immigration. I propose a extra severe sort of punishment for unlawful immigrants, which contain extensive (or lifetime) needed protection tension provider, banishment to remote places which contain islands, or supply them employment in job sectors with low supply of workers. extra helpful containment on the borders might additionally be very efficient, besides as severe sentences which contain capital punishment to those that "supply" unlawful immigrants. regardless of the degree, i'm specific all agree that drastic measures might desire to be taken with the intention to effectively scientific care the undertaking of unlawful immigration, no longer purely in united statesa., yet international extensive besides.
