I am interested in how much power a determined U.S president would have over the 'military industrial complex' and foreign policy, and how much ability an environmentally minded president would have to enact environmental change.

am i crazy or what im in high school and i dont often watch the news but the rhetoric coming from the govt is making me mad, first off im not for supporting radical extremists but if iran used nuclear weapons on isreal or even if isreal used the same on them they would kill each other because there is only 500 miles of distance between baghdad and isreal and even less between tehran and isreal the radiation would be to intense to with stand for anyone.

i feel like politicians are liars, yeah i know movies say it but i really think now more than ever that the bush administration is full of **** especially rumsfeld they said iraq had weapons of mass distruction and that there was a clear link to the alkada or what ever hell group they are it is all bull ****... i say the hijackers came from saudi arabia and from bin laden who is still at large making more threats..

my question is would you join the military any branch after knowing what you know?

I am asking everyone who reads this question to please, please, PLEASE do just a little bit of research on candidates before you blindly vote. You may come to find that your political party is taking advantage of you and not truly representing you. Just look at their track records and make an informed vote. Do not just vote for the party the people around you vote for. I am not saying the other candidates in an election that did not get voted in would have done any better but if the common person smartens up and possibly starts voting for people other than the two mainstream candidates, the Libs and Cons may realize that they really are nothing without your support and they might start actually DOING something for you in office. You never know until you try. If you already do a little research and know who is best for you, great. Most people, however, don't and that is a fact. Kids vote for who their parents voted for but a lot has changed in politics the last 20 years. Please comment.

Why do people consider Nuclear Weapons to be weapons of mass destruction? All they do is sit in their hangars getting rusty. All the while, guns and knives take down hundreds of people across the globe every single day.
For me, the smaller everyday weapons are the real WMD's because their death toll far outnumbers that of nuclear weapons and i dont personlly think a nuclear weapon will ever be fired again.
what are your opinions?

This is a serious question, and please answer it with out all the insults and stereotypes. If all the illegals go back to Mexico will the Americans step up to the plate and start working in the hot sun in the crops, will they do all the constuction work, will they scrub toilets and clean other peoples houses, how about wash dishes in a restaraunt? better yet will you work for minimum wage or below. Granted that some might already do these jobs, but why do you think the mexicans do all of these jobs? because nobody else wants to!

And by the way... illegals do pay taxes. Many businesses hire illegals willingly to exploit them, and they withhold taxes just like any one else.

What happens to all that Money?

I Have had my windows smashed twice in the last three weeks, and the cops think that it's kids with stones. But surely throwing a stone at someones window would NOT cause shards of glass to fly 17ft into my home. My dad thinks it could be .22 calibre but I can't find any pellets or bullets in my house! (or stones for that matter!)
The hole in the windows are marble sized and have obviously caused the rest of the window to crack.
Please help as I really don't wanna be shot!
Oh please note that I am a law abiding citizen with no know enemies. I just want to know why I'm being targeted and what I'm actually dealing with!!!
Stones? Air rifle? Snipper? (lol) Please help me anyone with knowledge of stone throwing or firearms!

And how can one distinguish oneself from that camp? I find that more people are subscribing to the doctine of conservatism, yet falling for the antics of Neo Cons. With all the trade agreements, out sourcing, imperialistic foreign policies, and elinimation of civil liberities and veteran's benefit's that Neo Con's promote, why would any practically minded conservative be hoodwinked by this tomfoolery?
