We took Guantanamo when we kicked the Spanish out of Cuba. How bout that -- Cuba has the US to thank for even being a country and not a Spanish terrirtory.

Umm...a military base is much different than a whole country with illegal immigrants. Do you see Americans wandering the streets of Cuba? I think not.

they only think we are their illegally because they ignore this thing called the LAW. We use it to decide what is legal.

I checked:

Iraq war - Legal

GTMO Cuba - Legal

Those in the US without Papers - Illegal

Wire taps without warrants - Debatable (oh and the law has a way to find that out it is called the courts)

Man this law stuff is cool

The difference between American presence in Cuba and Mexican presence in the US is that Mexicans come here peacefully seeking employment. Americans established their base in Cuba through military violence and threats, as this country has done on every continent in the world. The only "long standing agreement" is the US saying "we're here to stay- if you try to push us out, we'll send in the bombers."

There is "nothing" illegal about Guantanamo.

It's US territory by a long standing agreement.
