Can we ever expect our country to be united as long as we have two political parties that are divided?

I feel our country would be much better off if we did away with both political parties and elected individuals who all had one thing in my mind, the betterment of our country. It seems to me that the welfare of our country gets neglected amid the constant squabbling between Democrats and Republicans. Instead of coming together and focusing on the needs of the American people, they seem to be more focused on bashing, degrading or discrediting one another. Another thing I often see among both parties is how they always try to cover up or defend mistakes made by their party members instead of admitting when they are wrong. If the two party system were eliminated corrupt or incompetent politicians would have no party to hide behind and therefore would be held more accountable for their actions. Our country would be much better off if we elected individuals based on their credentials, merit and moral character rather than being influenced by the political party they represent.

Are there any similarities between the Bush administraton and the Third Reich?

This is a serious question for thoughtful people. I am not looking for a simple "How could you say that I love Bush" or "I hate Bush" rant. Just want the facts, like Joe Friday used to say. And please don't have a fit because I asked!

Illegal Inmigrants do pay taxes if they get a paycheck they donnot have any option and they donnot steal from anyone They do the total opposite they give their money away to you people because they Can't Claim their taxes Like U!
And about welFARE if you r here illegally YOU cannot get wellfare You need to be a resident or citizen.
I have illegal friends and Know this because I'm hispanic and we all k now thats the excuse most people give to attack them Saying they don't pay taxes wich I repeat is a lie!
If they get a pay check they automaticaly deduct taxes from their pay!

Do you think child molestors should be surgically castrated?

Ok, I know that sounds harsh...but I could care less. I'm not talking about every sex offender, but those who are completely guilty (perhaps w/ DNA evidence, or several charges). If the sex drive is taken away, it would greatly decrease the likelyhood of repeat offenses. The molested never truly get to have a "normal" sex life again. I'm just so sick of all the pervs out there, and I just wish the punishment fit the crime.

Does YAHOO ANSWERS favor WHITE PEOPLE only?

Seems a lot of them are parading around this site in groups and passing points to one another through secret messages.

It's one thing to see the FBI, CIA, and NSA do this, but pin heads in general bother me with coded questions like, "How can I make my bed bigger in the back of my WAL-MART RIG?", or "How can I tell my wife that she shouldn't sleep with BLACK MEN?" or "How can I tell my gay boyfriend that he should arch his back a little bit higher?"

Questions that WHITE PEOPLE ask like this bothers me.

Is it legal to write a buisness letter and try to trick them into giving you free stuff?

I ma thinking of trying to write to Apple and terying to get a free Ipod, is that legal? Like if i say i am making a website that tests MP3 plaers and Mmusic DOwnloading programs and then ask if i can have an ipod and say i will put advertisemnt for them on my website. Is that legal???

Is an inability to wait in line considered a disability?

I have a problem with waiting in lines. I'm too impatient to do so. The other day I went to a warehouse store, I won't mention it's name. I spent 40 minutes filling up the basket with goodies. Then I saw real long lines at all the check out lanes. I panicked, left the basket of goodies and went home empty-handed. Should the Americans With Disabilities Act require such stores to have a special lane for people with my type of disability (where we wouldn't be subjected to the indignity of waiting)?????

Just think what we aren't doing because of the cost of the war.

Can a non-custodial parent claim a child on income tax?

Hi, I am a single mom. Never been married to my sons father. Actually I have no communication with him at all. I wanted to know if my sons father is able to claim my son on his income tax? How would I be able to find out if he's been doing so? He recently was ordered by law to pay child support. Does that give him any right to claim my son on his income tax?
