You can't be serious! There is a huge difference between legal black citizens, and illegal aliens! If that's the case, then gay people shouldn't be upset that there are illegal aliens, because they're also often discriminated against, so are women, poor people, and disabled people! That pretty much leaves only middle class and white rich men and young children to have the right to say they aren't ok with illegal immigration.
Look, somebody wants to move to the US legally, I encourage it! And I don't believe for one moment that all illegal aliens are bad people, I know some of them simply want a better life and may not even be sure how to go about becoming legal, but it's not an excuse. black people born and raised in this country dates back several hundred years and, yes, those who it applies to have experienced their share of discrimination but that is SO irrelevant when it comes to others coming to this country illegally. what does black people being discriminated through history have to do with people coming to this country illegally.

That is not even a fair question. You can't compare the two. African American's ancestors were forced to come here. They are here legally and still they are discriminated against. People that are here illegally are criminals. Whether you like that term or not, it is what it is. Why do Mexican's hate Black people? A gang of Mexicans in L.A. killed a black man because he would not move out of "his" neighborhood. Why would they take your side?

This is not a issue of race. This is an issue of immigration status. Black should be complaining because illegal immigrant are demanding rights at the expense of black america. As a black man, it p-i-s-s-e-s me off to see Elvira Arellano comparing herself to Rosa Parks, who was discriminated against because of the color of her skin. Rosa Parks was a legal US citizen that paid taxes. She didnt steal social security numbers and commit fraud and such.
I am also tired of illegal immigrants demanding rights, and I am so sick of hearing, "Well, we're coming over here illegally because we have families to feed." Let me ask you, if I had three kids and I just lost my job, would it make it right for me to sneak in your house and use all of the resources that you worked hard for? I'm not a racist person (and for those of you that think otherwise can kiss my a-s-s!!!) but i think illegal immigration is not fair for those immigrants that paid their way over here and took the effort to learn English and go through other processes to get naturalized to live in this country. So what the paperwork takes a long time, and so what it cost alot of money to get legalized! Many other immigrants from other countries are doing it legal and so should they (illegal immigrants)!!!!!
As a black american, i do think that they are being exploited, but thats the governments fault for not imposing stiffer penalties for hiring illegal immigrants. But all in all, it hurts all americans because they can't work for high wages since illegals are working for cheap wages. Most americans dont mind doing back breaking, humiliating, honest work, but will not work for "chump change."
In conclusion, discriminating against anyone on the basis of race, gender, sexuality is wrong but if you entered the US illegally, then I honestly think you do not have any rights, just as if I enter Argentina, Mexico, El Salvador or any other country illegally, I shouldn't have right in those countries either!

evidentally the people that are trying to illegally gain entrance into our country obviously want to be here for a reason.
there are probably so many hardships for them to face in their native homes.
NO i am not trying to justify what illegal immigrants do, it is against the law, they should take the proper steps to gain access here, but we are not in there shoes, we dont know thier situations, so lets not be so haste to judge them or my race.

Maybe because they are American citizens. This whole issue should not be a race issue. It should be about people doing things the right way for the right reason. I have friends of pretty much every race. The common thread is not anti Hispanic with us. It is anti criminal. Do things the right way,do things the way they should be and no one has a problem. Take shortcuts and that's why people get upset. As always it is not racial because I am against Hispanics it is I am against criminals.

Where have you been. it's the blacks jobs they are stealing and lowering the wages of.. Illegals are being used by compaies to lower wages or were you asleep for that part of our history.
