I am asking everyone who reads this question to please, please, PLEASE do just a little bit of research on candidates before you blindly vote. You may come to find that your political party is taking advantage of you and not truly representing you. Just look at their track records and make an informed vote. Do not just vote for the party the people around you vote for. I am not saying the other candidates in an election that did not get voted in would have done any better but if the common person smartens up and possibly starts voting for people other than the two mainstream candidates, the Libs and Cons may realize that they really are nothing without your support and they might start actually DOING something for you in office. You never know until you try. If you already do a little research and know who is best for you, great. Most people, however, don't and that is a fact. Kids vote for who their parents voted for but a lot has changed in politics the last 20 years. Please comment.

i think we need to take to the streets. the government we have now is as complacent as the people who are consenting to leave them in office to destroy the country.
the common person does very little to deserve such a grand experiment. we are wasting the gift our forefathers bled into being for us. when we remember that this is our burden as well as our blessing, we might be able to save it. i do not believe they, the elected, will be properly motivated until they realize we are dissatisfied with their performance.
we should tell them... as spectacularly as possible.

Your plea shows that you are unhappy about government; perhaps all government, but most likely, the national government.
Your dissatisfaction is shared by more than half of the people. It is this concern that makes Democracy the best form of government for America. Unfortunately not all countries nor all people are ready for Democracy. Reinhold Niebuhr said, " Human beings are just good enough to make Democracy possible... and just bad enough to make it necessary." You may be sure that the good candidates are using all in their ability and power to supply the information you wish for others, while the bad candidates are doing their best to fool the majority as much of the time as they can.

Good to see there is other Patriot here !!
Unfortunately, my months of investigation lead me to the fact that Republican party, and Liberal party were two wings of the same Entity..the Skull and Bone society.
Bush, Kerry, Clinton, Cheney are all admited lifetime members of the Skull and Bone society, the lodge 322 of the Bavarian Illuminati.
Bush and Kerry | Skull and Bone : http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8150571337669145794&q=
The more important documentary ever : Loose Change 2 Nd Edition : http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7218920724339766288&q=
Also, I learned that : They haven't just collaborated...they financed Hitler, that was Prescott Bush, and the British crown, it's because, they are all blood related...All in the same secret society, they forged most of history events. The Queen Mother's of England is the leader of the Free-Masonic branch of the Order...Blair is known as the Knight of Maltha, and Geaorge W. Bush knight of Eulogia, please inform yourself on those link I give you, but investigate far more than that...We have to stand against this... www.infowars.com

I've done lots of research and sadly have found there is no one in either party fit to be president or senator - they obviously can ALL be bought! Why do you think big business is calling the shots??

Right now there are over 50 lobbyists for every member of the senate and congress, we really don't even know who we're voting for! We've never seen or met them.

I always try to find out about candidates. Some are easier then others.Sometimes I have to choose between "I don't want to vote for" and I can't vote for".Guess which gets the vote.I'm an independent.

I think the problem with that is sometimes no candidate is truely representing me. I'm very pro-choice and pro-gay rights and no one in my state is outspokenly for those. Thus, I just have to vote for the -party- that's more likely to make headway with those.
