1 Let every person be subordinate to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been established by God.
2
Therefore, whoever resists authority opposes what God has appointed, and those who oppose it will bring judgment upon themselves.
3
For rulers are not a cause of fear to good conduct, but to evil. Do you wish to have no fear of authority? Then do what is good and you will receive approval from it,
4
for it is a servant of God for your good. But if you do evil, be afraid, for it does not bear the sword without purpose; it is the servant of God to inflict wrath on the evildoer.
5
Therefore, it is necessary to be subject not only because of the wrath but also because of conscience.
6
This is why you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.

Pay to all their dues, taxes to whom taxes are due, toll to whom toll is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.

Illegal immigration and staying here is a violation of U.S. immigration law. By staying here you commit a mortal sin.
Confess to a preist, repent, and return to your homeland. You are damning yourself to hell by staying here.

To Guest Worker below who contradicts me with the Jewish law:

Here is what Paul writes about the Jewish law in Galations 3:

But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Over to you

Matthew 7:1-5 Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured unto you. And why behold you the mote that is in your brother's eye, but consider not the beam that is in your own eye? Or how will you say to your brother, Let me cast out the mote out of your eye; and lo, the beam is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye; and then shall you see clearly to cast out the mote out of your brother's eye.

I am not a big fan of St Paul, but yes. Jesus said much the same thing. They know what they re doing is wrong. They simply don't care. What they are doing is STEALING. They are taking what is not theirs, what rightful citizens have created by working hard and being honest, and raising their children to be honest. Now we have people who have RUINED THEIR OWN COUNTRY, and instead of fixing their own mess, they have decided that its OK to come and take what isn't theirs. How do you expect people like that to respect anything righteous?? The FUNNY thing is that Mexicans at least pretend to be good Catholics, but obviously they are NOT!

What makes you think the USA is in Gods favor? Why didn't God help the people in the twin towers from crumbling to the ground? Why didn't God help the USA during Vietnam? Did God want the USA to enslave the *****, and kill Native people? Sorry chump, go back to watching Pat Robertson, good thing you guys are going to eternal death, no hope for you.

Let's see...by your reasoning, the followers of Hitler and Stalin were acting in accordance with God's will when they carried out the orders of said leaders to systematically exterminate millions of people. Huh, that doesn't quite seem right does it? Maybe you shouldn't try and merge the application of religion and internation politics...they are two completely different and seperate disciplines, and will be treated as such by any thoughtful, intelligent person.

Exodus 23:9

"Do not oppress an alien; you yourselves know how it feels to be aliens, because you were aliens in Egypt."

I suppose you know where that got Paul of Tarsus?
P.S. I never liked the guy, he is responsible for the more sinister traits of so called Christianity, like their contempt for women.

I am not very religious so Romans 13 means nothing to me.

I don't know the Bible but if I did I'm sure I could find a verse to contradict yours.
