My husband is in Iraq now and tries to talk anyone he can out of it.And people who aren't or havent been there who have their "macho" I'm a bad a** attitude will be the first ones cryin for their mommies. My husband is 6'2 225lbs and all muscle and macho and he has a whole new attitude. When you are afraid for your life EVERY minute and cant even trust the government, who by the way ,sent you there and dont protect you ,but swear that they do,you tend to have a new look at life. When everywhere you look there are the people that hate you all around, but they are cookin your food and washin your clothes, because the government is payin them, its a little hard to trust anyone there.People who think they know and have never been, dont know anything.Go spent some time with a vet. then you can appreciate what they know.

properly that's not complicated to be certain why all human beings seen to hate yanks. that's a given. My subject is; the those that condemn united statesa. & the Allies for attempting to rid the international of terriosts have not arise with yet another plan to stop those human beings from killing one yet another or attacking the West. The coalition is making an attempt to help the individuals of Iraq to handle their police & protection tension so as that they might administration the militants. Do the individuals who oppose the conflict have yet in any different case of doing this. if so, enable's hear it. If no longer, then close the (intercourse) up.

And what is it that you know? Sounds to me like you selectively believe. You believe that Bin Laden is responsible, yet you have no more proof of that than you do that no WMD was found in Iraq or that Saddam was not linked to the attacks on 9-11. I contend that you really don't know anything and are just repeating what you hear from the media!

Knowing what I know, I AM joining the military and I am VERY proud of it and my country. There were WMDs and al Qaeda is/was a threat.
I dont think Bush did a good job of reasoning about the war but it had to be done.

Sure, I would join. I think you have a lot to learn. By your writings you are confused about the facts, But most are at your age, so you aren't alone. Start young, know that you will be lied to, so do your own research on credible sites.

Sure, I support the military. Why? Well, I graduated from high school and went to college so I learned more. After you have your master's degree, you will understand things differently.

That seems to be a pressing issue today doesn't it? Actually most of the US Armed Forces are having difficulty meeting their recruitment quotas. This has recently forced them to recall up reservists to pull up the slack.
