To some extent you are correct, but it is absolutely an overt form of socialism.

Communism usually starts when the economy is in the toliet due to socialism and the government takes control of the means of production. I sincerely believe that pelosi, clitoon and the other socialists in the progressive caucus would take more and more away from our freedoms if given the chance.

There are some minor differences between socialism and communism, both marxist ideologies.

What amazes me is that some Americans fail to see the evil in socialism. There is some interesting knowledge in the links below if you are interested. Unlike socialists I will not FORCE you to read it, but offer it up for your benefit.

Although i could categorize social security as a scapegoat for our governments mishandling of our money. Social Security is in really big trouble, because it has been dipped into for other things by our appointed leaders. So yes maybe you could say it is it is a form of communism, they take and don't give and do what they want.
Welfare is socialist to some extent. Socialist countries provide health care, day care and incentives to those with a lower income. It is not designed to support those who chose to stay home and do nothing. But if you think we live i a socialist society you are mistaken. Lets take Belgium for instance, if you own a home and have to go in a nursing home, they do not take it from you to pay for your care, If you purchase a home , the less attractive it is on the outside the more you pay for property taxes. The logic for this is, if your house is well maintained you have already paid taxes on the items you needed to improve your property , why pay them again. If you need to see a doctor the payment is equivilent to 10.00 american money. Yes , they take a little more in taxes out of your paycheck, but not that much. I would be willing to have an extra 20 bucks taken out of each check to reap the benefits.

If I had all the money I have paid into Social Security, I wouldn't need any retirement plan..I could do better with my own investments! Where do you think that SS is a give away. Working people funded that thing, not the government. IN fact, the government is always raiding the pot because they spend too much !

i'm hoping you been planing to your retirement and not thinking the government will in basic terms safeguard you, yet reason on the fee that's now predicted that social protection would be thoroughly broke by ability of 2025. Its no longer a remember of no longer spending on different issues, as social protection and courses like that now take in over 60% of the funds in united statesa.. that's what human beings do no longer look to appreciate in case you do no longer purely right this methodology and decrease it back some you will loose all of it and extremely quickly. playstation reducing the Social protection tax that worker pay isn't correcting the undertaking for the destiny.

no welfare is for low income family's, usually single parent home's because the father think's the grass is greener some where else. so the mother has to get help to feed the kid's. the welfare system will help her get a job when the youngest turn's of age to go to school. sosial security is for people who are retired. or diabled to the point where they can't function in the work force. it would take a republican to think like you do. good day.

LOL

Social programs is a subtle form of Robin-Hood-ism.

A social program is a way of a government to help the poor using the rest of the taxpayers money, takes the money from the rich to give it to the poors, Social Program resembles more the ideology of Robin Hood that the ideology or Karl Marx.

I don't know about welfare, but people pay into Social Security. They get a lot more back now then they paid into, but they still started off getting back what they paid into it.
