It is ungodly and shall be punished!
I pray for a worker's revolt!

Outsourcing is actually a good thing. Companies have saved tons of money in the process, so they ussually keep the jobs. The exception is manufacturing. On 20/20 John Stossel had this company (computer company I think) on and the owner said he was going to have to fire these people because he couldn't stay afloat. He outsourced the jobs and saved money and kept the employees he was going to fire.
Also John Stossel had these people from levi on and this lady worked in the manufacturing planet and lost her job to outsourcing and is now working in a cushy office job.

I think it is great. I have a great job here, and I hire this engineer in India to do it for me, he does a great job and I only pay him 1/5 what I make.
After a while, my boss was getting suspicious, so I had him through in a few mistakes, now my boss is sure it is me actually doing the work.
I am thinking of getting a 2nd job now, and farming it out to India also.

Well that's a small issue because it seems that people are more worried about illegals "stealing" jobs than outsourcing taking millions of jobs out of the country and recently spreading to other types of jobs that weren't being outsourced before.

Its a free market economy except the common sense idea that, if you outsource jobs, no one will have the ability to buy your products seems to have escaped the captains of industry.

I don't care for it, but we've been doing it for over 30 years. Americans need to make a decision if they want jobs or cheap stuff. Most seem to want the discounted item.

I think it sucks. The software company my husband works for does it. Some days he's on pins and needles waiting to get a "pink slip." For those that do get one, security comes to their desk and they have 5 minutes to get their stuff and go. Outsourcing is going to cost us all in the end.

That's free-market capitalism in action.
If we're going to promote capitalism as the ideal economic model, then we have to accept how it operates even when it works against national interests.

We have too many unemployed people in our own country !! Why are they so worried about employing other coutries' citizens? They should be taking care of thier own first...

It's all about money. If corporations can save millions by employing overseas then they will continue to do so.
