If you get it from a one sided source do you ever look for the other side? If you do, do you ever choose which side you agree with and discard the other side as not reliable? What sense does that make if you're only looking to what you agree with?

I usually go directly to the original source, case or statute, when talking about legal matters. Or an admission, again from the source.

If it's something else, I try to read at least three different versions, from different sources and groups. And I try to only take information that matches most (if not all) of those versions.

There are a few individuals that I have come to trust, mostly columnists on FindLaw that I have verified often enough that I usually only get one corroborating third-party rather than the normal two or three.

Well you intuition is a powerful tool. So is practising your own critical thinking skills. If you have found your truth within yourself there is nothing more in this whole existence to find. The Inner Voice speaks not in words but in the wordless language of the heart. Our very confusion is a reminder to seek silence and look within. Without the guidance of the heart, the mind goes insane. I would say that with the state our world is in (collective consciousness) most are operating from the ego and not the heart.

I get it from this news magazine called "The Week." Its pretty sweet they have articles from newspapers all around the country plus newspapers from overseas, ie nethlerands, Germany, England, etc. Heres a link to their website.

its pretty good ussually for a big story they'll have like 4 or 5 different newspaper writters and they combine them into one article.

Facts are facts. I get my factual information from research. I have my own political views, which I formed from examining the facts. I am very conservative and listen to conservative commentators because they confirm what I believe in.
I try listening to liberals to find out what are their opinions. Unfortunately they are so whacked out, I can stand it for no more than five minutes a day.

I hear or read the story then I determine if it is viable. If something is worthy of my time I dig further. Since I am a logical thinker, stories must make logical sense to me.

Ok...please, give us your "side". And please, they should actually be of a statistical nature for me to buy into it.
