Mayor Ray Nagin does more harm then good in the Katrina efforts to rebuild NO. He continues to bring up the race issue over and over and comparing Katrina to 9/11 construction is plain wrong. I believe this man loves listening to himself and wants to be remembered as an MLK / JJ type. He needs to get over NO being Chocolate again because he is never going to get it that way. What was he doing for the city prior to Katrina? Tourism was great, but what about the people and neighborhoods that were neglected for so long? Was he the people's choice back then, the savior of the poor? Don't think so. He can toot his horn all he wants, but what he really needs to do is start using a positive and productive approach in getting the city back on its feet. NO needs to be a 164 count box of crayons, not Chocolate. All races working together to bring the city back to life.
Ray, if that Cajun accent dude can make it all the way to the Casa Blanca to speak to the Pres, then you can too.

It is so frustrating and anyone who out there like me would understand. My daughter is 17+ and is severly handicapped. I mostly alone have taken care of her. Sometimes i am fortunate enough to be employeed and sometimes not. It has been a 17 year struggle and not because of her disease but just trying to make it financially. Eventhough I am now remarried just one income dosnt cut it. There are programs out there designed to help her but the waiting lists just to be approved are endless. I am just having a rough moment and wanted to voice my opinion to the world, if you care respond, if not? thats okay too. Its like trying to tread water with the shark nipping at your toes. just makes you want to scream.

Leftists are so stupid, they defend Islam, without knowing anything about it.

Leftists!!! Imagine Jerry Falwell....ok...with me....now, mainstream Islam is a billlion light years to the RIGHT OF THE FAT IDIOT...GET IT!!!

I apologize to the few leftists who have researched Islam. The very few leftists I have met that have researched Islam feel more contempt for the insane wacko super nightmare orwellian ultra right disease that it is...

Righties..calmly explain Islam to leftists, if youve studied it, they will loathe the disease of Islam more than you if you educated them.

With our constant medealing in others affairs we have doomed america to continued teror attacks and no place on earth will we be free to travel without the real threat of attack kidnap and death .WE use to be loved by people all over the world .OR was that a lie told to americans for years as we dominated and controlled the restructure of the worlds culture and industries .
WE exploited the local people for labor and governments to turn a blind eye and reap huge rewards that never where given to the people .
SO without caring for the people and supporting dictators around the globe we have reaped our own reward .
THE world hates america and this will breed more violence and terrorism in america in the future .
EVERY dollar spent to defend terrorism is one more out of the working mans pocket and terroists know this .THEY want us to suffer and wake up to our nations criminal acts around the globe .
BUT the Jewish owned media is spinning it another way . SO sad for americans we are blind.

A neighbor kid is asking people to sign a huge 3ftX4ft card to thank President Bush for his service to our great country. I have until tonight to write what I want and I'm thinking of saying something like this:

1. Thanks for fighting for freedom
2. Thanks for Standing up for my rights
3. Thanks for standing up for Marriage
4. Thanks you because you are a Christian
5. Thanks for lowering my taxes

Just my thoughts....I welcome any others

note: if you happen to be a lefty liberal..I'm not interested in what you negative ugly people have to say!

does anybody think that the two muslim guys that were recently ejected from the malaga-uk plane for being suspect terrorists actually set out for this to happen?
according to a fellow traveller on the news last night the two men were acting suspiciously and that was the reason for them being thrown off rather than just their appearance.
apparently they were wearing heavy jackets in really hot weather, even on the plane and they were also messing about underneath their seats.
What makes me think it was all a set up is because these 2 guys hold a copy of the daily mirror in their hands in almost any news coverage or interview ive seen of them, making me think that they've obviously been paid by this newspaper, giving them a motive to set up this situation.

they must have made a lot of money selling their story.

who thinks they intentionally got thrown off the plane?

Are we moving towards a full privatization of everything in a US system where capitalism is treated as a cure all (G. W. Bush has even contended that enviromental issues will be solved by economic progress/growth), or are we moving towards a more socialist model, as those in northern Europe where states guarantee social security, education and so forth.

In short, will governments move to guarantee more minimum rights, or will they embrace "capitalism" in hopes that it will improve the living standards of its people?

And is this a good thing? Where is what happening today?

What would you personally do if an outside country invaded your country...and one day a bomb fell on your home killing your entire family except yourself....Now would you

A. Forgive the country for doing it because it was just an accident of war?
or
B. Pick up a gun and swear revenge against the country that did it?

I am not giving my personal beliefs I just heard this question from my Brother who is a Marine..he tried to use this Logic to explain what causes people to become terrorist...amongst other things.

10 years ago, I never saw an Indian?
Now they are everywhere!
Where did they come from? Are they coming in from India like crazy? Big boats filled up with them?

Do you think we should send half home?
Take a lottery. And pick half to go home?
And see how it goes?
Then send more back if needed?

I believe there is better than a 50/50 chance an atomic weapon will be detonated on US soil in the next 30 years. We are very dependent on technology, and would be the country most devasted by a huge disaster (comet, meteor). Should I teach my kids survivalism, or is that too pessimistic?
