I've been reading the posts here and it's always "if they became legal, I wouldn't have a problem"
I live in Mexico, and at the American Embassy here, I see very, very long lines of people hoping to get a work visa to work in the USA, those people sleep for days in that line and most of them come out of there with their faces all sad, because they were denied that visa. I think that this is the way they become illegals.
I know that there is a big problem, but if maybe they were given temporary visas, and someway made sure they returned to their country, they would apply for a visa again and that way, he wouldn't have to be an illegal.
The other thing is, when employers ask for a work visa for their employees, theyhave to sign a letter stating that they will pay at least the minimum wage in the USA, so this WOULD take jobs from Americans, but if they were to lower the amount, maybe this way they would have legal workers and the only people sneaking over the border would be criminals.
