I think people need to take responsibility for their actions. I have little sympathy for people in the military who commit war crimes against civilians, the should be held accountable.

Isn't the constitution part of what makes America, well America. So why would Bush refer to it as "just a goddamn piece of paper"? Maybe I'm crazy but without the constitution, I don't think any of us would be living the way we are now. Any thoughts on this?

"Do you think that Republicans are dissatisfied enough with their own party that it will have a negative effect on conservative voter turnout?" What do you *really* think about all this stuff that Bush (well really his party, he's a puppet) has been pushing on you?

Thanks, lundstroms2004, good Q idea. ;-)

I think its somewhere in the region of a quarter or third of a million immigrants coming in each year. Which must be nearly the population of one of our medium-large sized cities like bristol.

What has a hole in the ground have to do with the clean-up effort in New Orleans? How long did it take for NYC to clean the WTC site up? Why do democraps compare apples to oranges? Why do democrats refuse to take responsiblity, rather, seek to exonerate those that are incompetent in their roles such as Ray Nagin? Bash Bush and overlook the flooded buses! Bash Bush on the war on terror and ignore Islamofascism.

Libs sure can't keep their composure. All I have to do is read their responses on yahoo answers. And why is yahoo burying this story?

8 years of unprecedented growth, longest in US history, and produced the largest federal surplus in US history,...but when it ended, they blame Clinton, as if the longest stretch of growth should never end.

A lot of people on this forum like to split hairs over this word. Yes, technically 'America' and 'American' make reference to the entire Western Hemisphere. But people shouldn't get all upset when the word American is applied to citizens of the United States only. When radical Islamists chant "death to America," do you really think they're referring to El Salvador and Haiti as well, or do you think they're talking solely about the United States? Even in Central and South America the term 'Americano' is synonymous with "gringo" in that they use it to refer to citizens of the U.S.

There's a 2 party system over there, but is the country in need of more choices?

Many countries have parties whose primary aim is one political agenda, such as protecting the environment, a specific minority's rights, ensuring that government respects religion, and so forth. These parties then get to share the ministerial jobs based on how seats in the parliament they have.
They seem to be doing just fine.

One party system is usually coupled with communism and fascism.
Needless to say, these nations don't really have much going for them.

I have shown several times that Bush is racist and it is well known among Miorities in america .
Also that the media is a spin factory owned run and controlled by a jewish community of people .
Thatt corporations no longer care about the american people are cutting pay and benefits like healthcare .
AND all this is making america into a socialist state run by a few special intrests that control the real american agenda .WHICh is to make money at the expense of anyone you can exploit .
IT is a kind of economic slavery that limits americans to mainly nine to five jobs shuffling paper work and no longer leading the world by what we produce .
THE new world is going to be run by the media and how it spins and shapes opinions .THE lack of accurate reporting is destroying america .
WE have families destroyed , living in poverty at a level greater then the great depression .
I do not look at employment because under paid overworked americans are slaves to the corporate take over of the world

I've seen many people on the left tout their support of Mahmour Ahmadinejad, especially after his interview on 60 Minutes. People claim he is "well spoken", or "thoughtful". But they ignore the human rights abuses his government inflicts on the people of Iran on a daily basis. People are beaten in the streets, arrested on no charges, subject to summary execution for thought crimes. There is absolutely no religious freedom. Not to mention that women are legally second class citizens (can't vote, can't hold office, their voice is worth half of a man's in court, can't drive without their husband's permission, no legal abortions). Is that the kind of society that leftists really want to live in?

send more national guard troops to help in everyone on the Gulf coast? It's been a year and the whole area still looks like an atom bomb went off there, cars turned upside down, houses are devastated etc. And every time I see any news of it I don't see ANY government employees there or anyone else for that matter, only the wasted landscape. Looks like bush wants to throw around money to people who say they will help but as he already found out they take the money and run. I could care less if civil war breaks out in Iraq, the American people come first and he needs to get off his *** and get to work down there. Thousands of people still don't even have homes while the gov't subsidized trailers sit in a huge field in Arkansas, some national guard here in the U.S. on duty are on the border and thats good, BUT THE BORDER PATROL ISNT DOING THEIR JOB CUZ THEY ACT LIKE THEY HAVE TO PROTECT THEM. WTF?
