I don't see a problem with having an Hispanic president or any other race. They just need to meet the Requirements to Hold Office.
Article 2, Section 1, of the U.S. Constitution sets the requirements one must meet in order to become President:
A natural-born citizen of the United States
Thirty-five years of age
Resident of the United States for 14 years.

Maybe but I hope there is a woman or a Black president first before the Hispanic one. They have been waiting longer and deserve the chance to better this country for all..Remember from the last elections, the most votes don't win ,its the electoral votes that elect presidents,or a brother that's Governor of a pivotal state .so don't count on sheer numbers of the populace to get an Hispanic elected.

Not if the Dems can help it. They were against all Hispanic nominations for the Cabinet & the Supreme Court. And don't have any high ranking Hispanics in their party.

It will happen....and there would have been at least a VP by now if Henry Cisneros wouldn't have been en El "nicky snick". He sure would have helped the last two non-articulate dems. Dude was as smooth as Billy-ol-boy.
I see Al'bama from ILL (something like that) as a strong candidate....dude has great vision and smarts. Please no JJ / Al "Pencil" Sharper or whatever his name is.
So I do see it happening, but most likely a woman or Black person first.

That would be awesome. I'd love to see all different nationalities. Hispanics are the fastest growing minority. Hey, out here where I live they are now doing school lessons in English and Spanish. The second part of school is in Spanish. Whoa...sign of the times.

Yes, at the rate of growth for the Hispanic population, it is only a matter of very short time.

I'm afraid not. There will be a woman president before a Hispanic one.

Possibly. I would expect someone like Bill Richardson. I've heard he might run at some point.
