I don't want either. Both have let us down miserably. Gimme the kid that failed highschool cause he was home smokin pot and shooting pigeons with his .12 guage. He'll probably do better.

The constitution says that this country is a republic. Therefore, only the Republican party should be allowed to sponsor candidates.
We're not a democracy, and we're not a communist state, and I don't even know where green comes from. So, we should get rid of the Democrats and the Communists and the Greens.
One party, Republicans. And if there are differences of opinion within that party, we can pick which Republican we want. That's as much freedom as anyone ever needs.

coragryph:: you have it wrong....the usa is a representative democracy meaning we elect officials and as our representatives they perform the functions instead of having whole population vote for everything which is ultimate democracy. Also your idea would violate the 1st ammendment of free speech and calling your group whatever it wants...if I used your reasoning the Republicans would be illegal because they are not democratic like the democrat party. Besides the term republic means the control of government is in the hands of the population..as such by your reasoning the political party system is wrong

Stupid or evil, the choice I make every election.
I keep voting for stupid, but evil keeps winning. It must be fixed.
Coragryph, you realize that the system you have proposed is exactly like the one they had in the Soviet Union. There were free elections, with only one party on the ticket. To put your guy on the ticket, he had to be a Communist, and only Communists would vote in the primary. That's why we said they weren't a democracy.
