And who should be her running mate? How about a Condi/Rudi ticket?

The problem with Rice running is that she would have a heck of a job trying to separate herself from a very, very unpopular administration (assuming that nothing huge happens between now and then) in which she's played a key part. She would have to play up the differences between her and Bush and minimize her role in defending the more unpopular policies.

She does have some of the best qualifications, though -- she's arguably the smartest person in national politics, and her foreign policy experience would be a great asset as President. Also (and obviously), she's both female and black. She could quite possibly pull a significant portion of the black vote (especially if she turns out to be socially moderate) -- it could easily put her over the top.

So, personally, I say yes. As for running mate, she could pick virtually any moderate-conservative white man to broaden the appeal of the ticket.

I don't think that anyone that is associated with President Bush stands a shot at winning an election. I think during the next republican primary that republican candidates will distance themselves as far from President Bush as possible. Mr Bush has single handidly destroyed his party ( not to mention the country )and you will probably see runaway elections favoring the democrats for many years to come. I think this is a shame since I wouldn't like to see any political party have full control over the presidency ,the house, the senate and the supreme court. It's a recipe for disaster!

No she should plan on being the VP nominee for who ever the Republican candidate is - I think that would really neutralize hillary and polarize the democrats....I like Rudi/Condi as a ticket

That would be a great way for the Republicans to lose - let's hope they go for it!! Then the Democrats could run anybody and win. We are not ready for a black female president - we are ready for a female, and possibly a black, but not a person who is both!!! Wait a few years and it won't make any difference - we'll have president Juan Perez after the Mexicans take over.

Condi & Rudi - nice combo. I would love for Condi to run - but she has already said she won't.....so scratch that dream idea.

Nope. She has too many things "against" her, primarily that she supports George W Bush. Her race and gender are also strong issues that would cause a lot of debate (this is not meant to be racist or sexist - just an observation).

I'd vote for her. If she is on the ticket it would most likely be as a VP.

NO, By "staying the course" with the criminal Bush administration proves that she lacks integrity.

Who cares. I would vote for a piece of bacon before I'd voted for Hilary.
