Blair, may not be the best PM you've ever had, but under him, there has considerable improvement from the Major years. Chancellor Brown is as damp as a damp squid, do you really believe things will get better under his leadership, if he succeeds Blair?

Someone was tried and convicted of murder. He spent 25 years in jail for this crime. Upon release, the supposed victim (who framed the man) turns up alive and well. Out of bitterness of 25 wasted years, the framed "convict" shoots dead the person who was supposed to have been shot 25 years previously. Under the laws of double jeopardy, the person cannot be tried for the murder, having had spent 25 years in jail. What if there was a witness to the actual murder, can this witness sue for Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome witnessing a murder? the thing is, the witness is 15, the murder legally happened 25 years ago. Or am I misunderstanding Double Jeopardy? (It means the person can't be tried twice for the same thing)

WASHINGTON (AFP) - The United States has said it was investigating whether Israel broke secret agreements in its use of US-made cluster bombs in its attacks on Lebanon. The investigation was launched by the State Department's Office of Defense Trade Controls following reports that Israeli forces used the anti-personnel cluster bombs in civilian areas in southern Lebanon.Cluster bombs scatter a load of small "bomblets" over a wide area, and remnants of these munitions have been found in many parts of southern Lebanon, the Times reported."Because of their wide dispersal pattern, cluster munitions should never be used in populated areas," Kenneth Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch, said.

I always wondered during the "today we march tomorrow we vote" crap that went on why we just did not block the streets and arrest them, figure out who is illegal and deport them... again for the 90th time.....

also came up with a plan....

STEP 1) get caught here illegal, fine, we will send you back....

Step 2) get caught here illegal AGAIN and you can not legally become a US citizen for 10 years......... no big deal you say... ok...

STEP 3) get caught a third time..... 10 years in Prison with no parole...... Upon release sent back.......

Step 4) Get caught a 4th time.... Life in prison...

The US should not have to bow down to these people and their threats. We can hire ANYBODY and I mean ANYBODY to build decks and to clean tables. People keep forgetting that the key word here is ILLEGAL ALIEN... ILLEGAL!!!!!!!

That means you do not have rights, period...... Want rights.... go back to your homeland.

The rest of us waited in line, you can too!!

Good grief does anybody know anything about how are government works? Federal goverment can not step in until the state asks for help. And LA knew the hurricane was going to hit them for about 3+ days so why didn't they ask for help before the hurricane hit? Why did they wait till afterwards? B/c if you read the news that day and in the following weeks, the fed gave ~$10 billion dollars to LA. And now you have Dems running around saying Bush didn't do anything. He should have helped sooner. Why doesn't he care. Like I stated before, Bush could not step in into the governor of LA, which is by the way a Dem, asked him for help. When she did ask for help though, noticed Bush sent military trucks in with food, medicine, and supplies to those people in New Orleans.

If reality tell us that most politicians will lie and try to justify actions that they know were wrong, would you be able to notice when the person you voted for is in that state and cut your support or would it be to hard to notice and you will keep your support or would you notice and keep your support regardless for the same reasons the candidate has? Which is the right action as a voter?
