Please don't waste time handing out blame. Let's talk problems and answers. For example, I think securing our borders is the #1 crisis at this time.

Illegal immigration . Tighten the border security , raise the fines and enforce them , on the corporations that hire and advertise in Mexico for illegal workers . Corporations should pay the expense of sending them home .
We have to let Congress know that , " We're mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore ".

Division among Americans!
We the People haven't true representation in public office today.
The great divide amongst WE THE PEOPLE is without merit. The far left and the far right have polarized us as a nation thus divided we fall and their larger agenda gets accomplished. The far left and far right combined only make up 20% of our population. The other 80% of Americans fall in the Moderate area. Whether we lean a bit to the left or a bit to the right our differences aren't that extreme. Moderates may believe to one extreme or the other on ONE particular issue. This persons others beliefs are usually down the middle. We are being duped and i believe the 80% should in a republic have things the way they want them run. It is more important now than ever in our history for viable third and fourth parties within the Senate and House of Reps to better serve WE THE PEOPLE.
I too am for securing the borders as are most Moderates so why aren't WE THE PEOPLE being represented. A higher agenda is at work here. NAFTA and a super highway running from Brazil up through Alaska is in the planning.
Close our border and return to our more isolationist ways and America's strength and Moderate voice will be heard like The Shot Heard Around The World.
Excellent Question.

The Foreign Policy Problem that is most pressing is the Iraq War Issue. The Joe Biden idea sounds like it has the best chance of allowing America to get out of Iraq and maintain Iraq as a Country. Make Baghdad an unaffiliated zone and seat of the Federal Government. Give the three largest divisions autonomy over their territory. So the Kurds would manage theirs, Sunni the over their area and the Shite their area.
The oil revenue would be collected by the Federal Government and divided and distributed to the three regions. The Federal Government would be responsible for Baghdad, the boarders, and distribution of the oil revenue.
The priority at home is two fold. One to secure the ports. Every shipment must be inspected before containers come into port, period.
Secondly, the mess in New Orleans must be fixed as soon as possible. The poor areas of town must be assisted in rebuilding and repopulating the areas that have been floated and almost forgotten. The levees must be fixed. This is an urgent problem for America and America's future.

I think Lobbyists are, have been, and will be our #1 crisis. How to fix it? Decentralize our government. In this day in age there is no reason that a member of congress can't vote on issues via video conference from, say, a public library. It only seems to make sense that our representatives be near their constituency.

Make the lobbyists WORK to reach all of them.

Maybe if our elected representatives stayed local, they would feel more accountable to us. But then again, keeping us feeling as if there is no say keeps us apathetic and docile, right where big brother wants us.

lol... securing our borders is the last thing on this administrations mind. Too much money. They get all the taxes and don't have to give any back because their bogus SS#'s. The number one crisis in reality is the Federal Reserve crisis. We borrow 2 billion dollars a day from foreign investors. THAT is the real problem!

America should come up with an alternative energy source to oil. This would diffuse the comments that the US interferes in the middle east just for the oil and who knows it could maybe get the military out of there.

How should they fix it? Well, re-direct tax spending from trying to put us back on the moon to supporting universities, and other private companies etc to come up with new power solutions.

Illegal Immigration

We need to Completely Seal Our Borders

Build a Wall along the Southern Border(thats where the Majority are Flooding in)

Impose Insane Fines on Employers whi Hire Illegals

Deport all Illegals(yes, it can be done... Don't believe me? Give me the Contract and I'll get it done...)

While working in S. Phoenix I personally arrested over 1500 Illegals in less than a 2yr. period........

Do the Math......

If I had 10k people to work with we could round up 90% of ALL Illegals pretty quick..............

Well........

That's just my Opinion......

The number one crisis is that the "war on terror" is bogus, a scheme initiated by the far right wing fascist "neocons" who orchestrated the 9/11 attacks to create terror in the American public and galvanize mass support for attacking Afghanistan and Iraq, and soon Iran, and to cut into the American individual's civil liberties with draconian legislation like the Patriot Act, AND to start illegal surveillance of US citizens, with the goal of a dictatorship for America.

Let the national guard defend our country's boarders by giving them orders to shoot to kill. There is a safe, legal process for entering this country. The other is a serious crime which should be punishable by death.

Boost education while phasing out welfare. Give people an opportunity to succeed then remove the incentives for being lazy or irresponsible.

Ban unions. Americans should seek higher wages by learning new skills, not joining a union which forces employers to pay more than what the employee is worth.
