We have not really had freedom since the coupe of '63. Our freedoms have been slowly taken away under many different guises. Fortunately, there are those intelligent beings in the US who do see what's happening. Unfortunately, they are too few.

You will be critisized not only for your opinion, but for being a foreigner daring to to relay your truths. Some North Americans are intolerant and think they are superior to others.
Our freedoms have eroded, but the President cannot tell us what to think. True, there are a lot of sheep, profiteers, and people who believe they must defend their country, even when they begin to realize that the leaders have misled them and have seriously damaged the USA in many ways.
Some of us are on the alert for undercurrents now, as more freedoms can be subverted before we realize what has happened, for example few people know the following: 2005
A Gulog
Recent developments suggest that the Bush administration may already be contemplating what to do with Americans who are deemed insufficiently loyal or who disseminate information that may be considered helpful to the enemy.
There also was another little-noticed item posted at the U.S. Army Web site, about the Pentagon’s Civilian Inmate Labor Program. This program “provides Army policy and guidance for establishing civilian inmate labor programs and civilian prison camps on Army installations.”
Plus, there was that curious development in January when the Army Corps of Engineers awarded Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg Brown & Root a $385 million contract to construct detention centers somewhere in the United States
The Army document, first drafted in 1997, underwent a “rapid action revision” on Jan. 14, 2005. The revision provides a “template for developing agreements” between the Army and corrections facilities for the use of civilian labor on Army installations.
No one knows what our future holds.

He means bubble,it translates to being protected from the truth, disease etc remember the boy in the bubble movie ? A fish bowl refers to every one watching everything you do.like movie stars.
No our freedom is not an illusion its real,we can touch it,taste it and live it everyday of our lives. We are not all living under a rock as most people from other country's would like to believe. You see we have the right to believe or not believe in our governments role in our lives without fear of being shot or being thrown in jail for our actions. We can protest and rally and vent our views any time we feel like it.We go to the church of our choice or we don't go at all that's our freedom. We have laws yes but if we don't like the laws and enough Americans get together and object we can change our laws, that's freedom my South American friend.
South America is a beautiful and Argentina has some of the best beef in the world, don't make yourselves look dumb by making snide remarks people. He wasn't downing the US only stating his observance from afar.Give him that freedom we love so much.I am proud to be an American and nothing will ever change that,am I proud of Bush .hell no......
Texas cowgirl lol you misspelled smart .........

when you speak of freedom you have your own to compare it too. Freedom here is a word that means your govt. can't just dictate your life. Is freedom working for 10 dollars a day or 15 dollars an hour . if freedom being able to walk out your door and say i hate president bush and not having to worry about some police entity taking you to a camp and you disappearing. if you ask me we may not have total freedom but what would a person do with complete freedom. and at least what our government sales is top shelf and not a pass off of something like it. true freedom does not exist. is is boarded right next to the unicorns and fairies in never-land. as for what we have here in the U.S.A. nothing compares. i could get in my car today and if go anywhere and do anything i want as long as it doesn't break the law . i can pray, vote, march, criticize, bad mouth whoever as long as i don't break the law. i am glad that you don,t hate us people as we don,t hate you. it is the politicians that hate. they don,t always make the best decision but at least we can vote them out or in and they can,t just change the system on their own.just think, to have a police officer show up at your house and you are not scared of them unless you have done something wrong. GOD BLESS ALL THOSE WHO LOVE FREEDOM AND ARE WILLING TO DIE FOR IT!

My question to you is, why do you think that YOUR government always tells you the truth?
Argentina is as corrupt and secretive as any country on the planet! You have had more military coups in that country than anyone can count. Do you think you're free?
I think you should start worrying about things in your own country before you start criticizing ours!
People who live in glass houses should not throw rocks!

Hold on.. I'm not free? Hmmm. Certainly feels like it. I can go/do/say/print anything I want as long as I don't commit a crime. And the White House (or anyone living there) has never told us to think a certain way. This is the most diverse bunch of people on the planet. You should come up. Perhaps you can teach us how to play better soccer.
