Has there ever been a time when there were so many human rights abusses? Sadam at his worst never kiddnapped 25,000 children to use as sex slaves. Or starved to death 1.3 million in a concentration camp. Isn't the real reason they went to Iraq was the oil? There is less abuse there than Africa? What else difference could there be?

What's your view on our soldiers? Are they good lads and lasses doing a hard job? Or are they viewed as baby killers and murderers?

Only sensible answers which don't offend (too much)

What a piece of moronic crap! This chimp acknowledges the invasion went awry AND still fails to tell us the exit stragery for this, and instead blames Democrats for it, like we were the ones who wanted to go to war. Can this moron be any more dellusional?

I'm all for people expressing themselves, but emails that solicit sex, or threat of harm? LEAVE ME ALONE SHIRAZ! I'd really like to know when free speech is at the expense of someone's rights to feel safe and secure, is it still a right?

I'm still preparing my taxes from 2005. My state tax form (New York) not only requires that I use my federal tax infomation - meaning that I must prepare that first - but the form itself is four pages long. It requires, apparently in my case, the submission of three other documents as well. It is taking me quite a long time to prepare my taxes. And I, like countless other Americans, do not fully understand the tax system; it's way too complicated. Here's the question: Are we ultimated victimized by that which we do not understand? And if so, what does this say about our current tax system. (People who have never prepared taxes, please do not respond.)

He was being drilled by a senator; "Did you not
spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?"
Ollie replied, "Yes.
The senator continued, "Isn't that just a little excessive?"
"No, sir," continued Ollie.
"No?why not?" the senator asked.
"Because the lives of my family and I were threatened, sir."
"Threatened? By whom?" the senator questioned.
"By a terrorist, sir" Ollie answered.
"Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that
much?"
"His name is Osama bin Laden, sir"
At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn't, Why are you so afraid of this man? because sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of." and what do you recomend we do about him"? well sir, if it was up to me, I would have him assasinated." the senator firmly disagreed w/ that approach...By the way, the senator was Al Gore.

Going to war, fighting in a war, without being a "official" soldier? Freelance so to speak. What's to stop someone (legally) from going to war without joining the military?

David Yassky, a Jewish "white individual", is running for the United States Congress in New York's 11th congressional district to replace retiring Congressman Major Owens. Many have criticized him for running in a district with a black majority, a district redrawn to comply with the Voting Rights Act. They say the seat should remain in African-American hands.

What do you think?
