No matter what service you are in you will travel. For the comment above this, YES you even travel in the AF.
When I was in the AF I was stationed at 3 bases and 2 deployments in a time span of 4.5 years....
If you are in the military no matter the branch you will see many parts of the world. Its one of the greatest parts on being in the military I think...

Of course you do! They arent the Airforce ya know. They sit on land and count mesquitoes. My hubby went on a short tour for 2 months and he went to Sweden, Germany, Poland, Great Britain, and Italy. Yes you will travel. I was in boot camp with people that thought otherwise. They thought the Navy never traveled so that is why they joined. It doesnt make sense. Also there were kids that joined that couldnt swim. HELLO? NAVY? WATER? WTF.

I did, few months out of high school, was sent overseas for 3 1/2 years. It's really a flip of the coin wheere you are needed. Theres the saying "choose your rate, choose your fate" thats so true. If your in some kind of medical field, theres a better chance of being shore duty, if its a sea rate ie. Gunner, you will be seeing some far away places on a boat...
