Why do people hate him...he is a great president.....he is a good talker.....

Well the answer to that is simple. Ignorance. And it is true what they say... Ignorance is bliss.
Ever wonder why the people that "hate" our beloved president have nothing better to say than "he's an idiot" or "he's a liar." And yet they never have any true facts as to why they say these things. They all continue to spew the same old regurgitated rederick.
It's like they all sit around telling themselves the same old diatribe, over and over. And the more they hear it from each other... The more they believe it. And what's even more ridiculous... They start to think that everyone believes there point of view because that's all they hear. There is no man more blind, than he who will not see.
I am truly amazed at the extent that they will go to reassure themselves of there hatred of this honest, God fearing man. And the funny thing is they are the same people that think Bill Clinton was such an "honest," "great" president. I won't even go into that quagmire. Other than to say I have always used a simple litmus test to judge the character of a man. How does he treat his family? If he will lie to the most important person in his life. (his wife) Do you honestly think he is going to tell YOU the truth? An honest man is honest in all aspects of his life. You can't differentiate in your life your ethics. It's a rather simplistic look on life, but I tell you... It works.
Anyway, when dealing with these misguided individuals, I usually tend to just show them fact's. (which they conveniently ignore) Or ask them simple questions. Like ever wonder why there has not been any attacks on US soil since our beloved president kicked some tail and showed them we will NOT put up with there BS.
There is but one way to deal with a bully. And make no mistake my friends.... We are dealing with bullies here. If you have not learned anything from our past you will be domed to repeat it. Sticking our head in the sand and hoping they will go away doesn't work. And you can't befriend someone that hates you for being you. If someone comes gunning for you, you can do one of two things. Kill or die. It's as old as man himself.
I was unfortunate enough to be in the military during the Clinton rule. I was in Somalia during operation restore freedom. When we were ambushed by the militant faction and we did NOTHING in response. And here is another little fact that they(the Bush haters) will chose to ignore... The #1 reason we were attacked on 9-11-01 was that we did not retaliate for that attack(Somalia) or the attack on the USS Cole, and we were viewed as weak. This according to Bin Ladin at least.
The one thing that I am proud of is that I never hear from any of my friends, either still in the military, or those who have transfered back into the civilian sector, with this rigamarole. Unanimously we all back our beloved president. I do however continue hear from people that have never served for our country. I find that particularly interesting. I guess it's hard to be fooled when your eyes are open.
Well, here is my final opinion on the subject...
The best way to see if my words are true is to listen to the response I will undoubtedly receive after submitting this answer. I will assuredly have a myriad of insults cast my way. None of them will have any intelligence mind you, but they will be entertaining. I welcome insults from the other side. It proves to me that I have opened there eyes a little and they are pissed about it.

Till then....
If you love your freedom, thank a vet.

I hope you're kidding! A good speaker? Its been a long time since I've heard anyone mangle the English language as bad as he does, not just in mispronouncing words but by saying goofy things. For a full collection, go to www.DubyaSpeak.com and read and listen to their collection.

He is probably the worst president of all time. He's lied to the country at every possible opportunity (wmds in Iraq for instance, Iraq being a training ground for al Qaeda etc.)....he's led the country down the road to financial ruin taking a balanced budget and almost overnight turning the black ink into red to where we now have a record deficit.....gas prices are the highest they've ever been while his big oil buddies are raking in record profits...he completely ignored the victims of Hurricane Katrina making promises that still haven't been kept....unemployment is back on the way up....he's gotten us involved in a seemingly endless war in Iraq.....inflation is up, higher than normal....he vetoed stem cell research funding on the grounds that cells were life, yet they're going to be destroyed so that should make the researchers murderers, ignoring the fact that hundreds of thousands of people could have been helped by the research....he hides behind the Bible at every opportunity....and he's a paranoid schizophrenic (he claims he talks to God every day and that God talks to him - people who hear voices are sick people).

He has however, proven to be an inspiration to those who are mentally challenged - if he can get to be president - so can they.

And, he looks like a chimpanzee (with apologies to all chimpanzees)!!

I do not know a person who "hates" G. W. Bush. On the other hand, I am aware that many do not approve of his policies and behaviors. As for being a good talker, if you are serious I disagree.

I have answered this question so much, that I have become exhausted in my attempts at stating what should be obvious. So I won’t go into my normal diatribe on this topic. Let me make it simple and succinct. People despise George W. Bush because:

1.He portrays himself as a man of deep spiritual conviction, when his policy belies this fact and underscores the blatant duplicity in his rhetoric.

2.He is not able or unwilling to give ample consideration to substantive issues that warrant such deliberation, while instead reacting on impulse and instinct, which has led this country into a military quagmire and economic shambles.

3.He speaks of compassion, but his preemptive military stance is anything but compassionate, resulting in more deaths of US and foreign personnel than the combined efforts of Al Queda, Hamas, and Hezbollah. Its sad when you surpass the death toll of the very insidious forces you claim to be stopping.

4.He extols the virtues of freedom and democracy and then hypocritically makes alliances with governments like Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were freedoms are severely curtailed and were the democratic process is nonexistent.

5.Through his own reactionary posture, he has caused more acrimony against the US, from the Muslim world, than before 9/11. In effect he is doing exactly what the terrorists would like him to do, in effect aiding and abetting them.

6.His uses unscrupulous tactics that violate the rights of citizens within this country, all under the banner of thwarting terrorism.

I am sure I can enumerate more points of contention with President Bush, but we will leave it at that for now. Just as an aside, how is that you can think he is a good orator, or “talker” as you say. He is a buffoon of the lowest order when it comes to articulating himself. Granted when he is making a State of the Union speech, or other formal speech that is prepared for him, he sounds pretty eloquent. Of course, who wouldn’t sound eloquent if they had professional speechwriters drafting their every thought, and all you had to do was read those words off of a teleprompter? Yet, when he responds impromptu to an inquiry from the press he demonstrates his utter incompetence. He is on the level of a 5th grader when it comes to responding to questions. If that were not bad enough he treats most critical questions with an air of condescension.

To sum it up Bush is encapsulates everything we loathe in a politician.
