He was being drilled by a senator; "Did you not
spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?"
Ollie replied, "Yes.
The senator continued, "Isn't that just a little excessive?"
"No, sir," continued Ollie.
"No?why not?" the senator asked.
"Because the lives of my family and I were threatened, sir."
"Threatened? By whom?" the senator questioned.
"By a terrorist, sir" Ollie answered.
"Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that
much?"
"His name is Osama bin Laden, sir"
At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn't, Why are you so afraid of this man? because sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of." and what do you recomend we do about him"? well sir, if it was up to me, I would have him assasinated." the senator firmly disagreed w/ that approach...By the way, the senator was Al Gore.

Let's review -- under whose administration did these hearings occur? Did you say Reagan? So Reagan knew about Osama, Bush Sr. knew about Osama, and neither had him assassinated?

Republicans are arguing that 9-11 was Clinton's fault because he didn't have OBL killed in 1998 when he may have had an opportunity. Could it be that Reagan and George HW Bush are also responsible for 9-11 under your very own reasoning?

Did you know that Clinton and the Democrats never blamed George Sr. for the first WTC bombing in March 1993 even though it occurred only 3 months after Clinton assumed office?

Face it, 9-11 occurred on W's watch, he was explicitly warned by Richard Clark and other terrorism experts that the US was being threatened, and his Presidential Daily Brief of early August said terrorists had plans to strike buildings with airplanes. Bush did NOT even order increased security at airports in response! This may have caught the terrorists since some had expired visas, two were on terror watch list and should not have been in the country. With the increased airport security the Bush should have ordered, several 9-11 hijackers would have been apprehended at the airports since they were traveling under their real names.

Did you know that the Koran allows jihad against those who violate your home?

Wouldn't it be better to find out why Bin Laden hates us?

How many times in U.S. foreign policy has a muslim home been violated for reasons resembling imperialism or oil? How many Palestinian homes have been bulldozed by Israel?

If YOUR home was violated, would you do the Christian thing and turn the other cheek? Yeah, didn't think so.

That's the next turn you should take in your historical research.
