I dislike Bush myself, but anyone who understands how our government works should know that Bush really has very few powers and does little to nothing as far as the running of the country goes-so why do people single him out instead of just bashing the system-which is truly at fault?

Are these the actions of a rogue state? If so, should it be getting weapons and money from the EU and US?

Seriously, I thought conservatives were supposed to be the financially minded politicians, but all Bush has done since he's been in office is spend with reckless abandon. Calling Bush a conservative is like calling Clinton a Liberal.

We are so powerful and have the latest weapons and the insurgents are just a rag tag group of men wearing tennis shoes and blue jeans and yet they are putting the big daddy hurt on the Marines. How can this be?

I love my house clean. I've never been in the military and am a little envious of their cleaning and organization knowledge and discipline. I like how they line their shoes up by the bed, how nothing is out of place and corners are dust free. What are some military cleaning tips? How do you stay disciplined to keep everything tidy and uncluttered? Where's all your clutter? What things do you still military clean? Windowsills, drains? Give me some ideas, I love new ideas of what to clean and where.

In the movie Men in Black II there is a Post Office scene where the aliens have an appearance that is an allusion to the 29 cent five stamp panel depicting the Hyacinth, Iris, Tulip, Lilac, and Daffodil. Also, K tells J that there is a free mental health clinic on the corner of Lilac and East Valley (East Valley being a reference to the Kidron Valley in the middle east, the site of Armagedon.) The Men in Black reference to the stamp set is unmistakable. Hyacinth is the Greek word for Sapphire. Sapphire is the gem stone of the ninth month. In the ninth chapter of the book of Revelation, verses 17 through 18 it refers to the fourth rider of Apocalypse on a horse with a breastplate emblazoned with gem stones red as fire, yellow as sulphur, and blue as sapphire. The Hyacinth stamp has three hyacinths, red, yellow and blue. The flag of Imperial China had the colors red, yellow and blue. What other countries have a flag with those exclusive colors?

Read this article...are we supposed to feel sorry for her?

Immigration enforcement officers do not plan to enter a church where a single mother sought sanctuary rather than submit to deportation to Mexico, a government official said Friday.
But Elvira Arellano, 31, and her supporters say only a stay of deportation will ensure that she and her 7-year-old son, an American citizen, are not forcibly removed from the Adalberto United Methodist Church.
"The situation doesn't change," Arellano said in Spanish.
Arellano has been living in the church since Tuesday, when she was supposed to surrender to authorities for deportation.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials had said they would apprehend Arellano at a time and place "of their choosing" and that nothing prevented them from going into the church.
But on Friday, a government official close to the case said immigration agents have decided against entering the church to remove Arellano.

OK, to start, for those who say we are winning, services in Iraq are worse than they were under Saddam, more civilians have been killed during our occupation that were in all of Saddam's rule. If we didn't "blow things up and kill innocent civilians" how did we do that while carpet bombing cities and sending high explosive munitions into them?

We will leave the increased cancer risk due to the depleted uranium projectiles for another time.

Now for the original question

We already have.
Under Bush; America has lost the respect of the people of almost every country in the world. A few countries which are dependent on US aid and power still pretend to be on our side but their people are not.

They see us turning into Russia of the 50s and 60s; Invading countries for no reason, wire tapping illegally, library records being seized, showing documents for travel, being encouraged to spy on our neighbors all in the name of SECURITY, plus the elimination of the middle class.

Just hope that in November the long road to recovery will begin; but it will take far longer than the 6 years it took to get this close to the bottom.

Remember, the "Patriot Act" is not patriotic.
