the question should be construed as "what should our country do about the illegal in the church".....I am not saying "we" as literally but "we" as a nation and country

The law should lay siege to the church, nothing allowed in, shut off water to the church. She will come out or die.
Harsh? YES, because she is a criminal.... if she has an ounce of humanity in her, she will come out and return to her country of origin with her child(born here as the result of her criminal illegal entry into the USA, no birthright citizenship for the child). This illegal alien invasion has to be stopped and reversed in FULL.

I can't believe we allow for an illegal immigrant to hide out in a church without arresting her for deportation. What if this were a child abuser? murderer? Would we allow for these criminals to sit in a church to avoid being punished? Absolutely not. So, what makes an ILLEGAL immigrant any different? She broke the law when she crossed the border ILLEGALLY. She should be thankful she had the opportunity to spend the last decade here and raise her child here and go on her way. If she were such a good citizen she would have applied for citizenship before she even crossed the border and would be a LEGAL citizen by now. No more excuses. Illegal immigrants are criminals, period.

The police or Ins could go in and get her out but the problem with that is that its frowned upon by many people that consider that churches are a sacred place where nobody can be touched. As for the others on here whom have said that churches now provide a hideaway for other criminals the fact of the matter is that its true. And its not only happening in the U.S but other parts of the world too.Kind of makes you wonder where the seperation of church and government truly ends.

i dont know how much sanctuary laws still apply but if there is some one in a church and they are an illegal citizen, they should be taken out and sent back to where they came from. if one person is allowe dto set up in a church and asks for sanctuary, what is going to stop others who have committed even more heinous crimes to do the same thing? Child molesters, rapists, murders...by allowing one to be protected, then all will have to be protected. think of that mess...

Just like I said in the other question about this lady...
If I was speeding at 120 mph in a high speed chase...and then ran to the church, they'd haul *** right through the double doors and arrest me....
...And, I'd be charged with a felony.

We shouldn't GET her. She'll just come back.
At any rate, she still probably has a better life living in a church than she'd ever have back home, wherever she's from. As long as there is an economic disparity between the US and other countries, people from those other countries will always come to the US.

Finally a church serves some use. Anyway you people have to get it clear she is breaking the law but murder, entering the country illegally are two very different things. Yes there both crimes but would you put shoplifting in the same category as rape there both crimes right?
And if you read the bible you don't go to hell for being an illegally alien but you do if you murder someone.

the precedent has already been set by Europeans who came here in 1492, in 1602, 1621, and then again by President Polk who decided to grab the Southwest from the Spanish. None of those were legal entries into this land.
