sure wiping out unions will lower prices for american produced goods. the flip side is working class americans will have lower wages working in jobs that wont offer healthcare.

sure theres problems with unions, i know its difficult to fire union schlubs...but destroying unions isnt the solution.

you want to fly on planes serviced by illegals...or someone who has two jobs?

" contingent of 49 French soldiers landed in the south Saturday, providing the first reinforcements for the 2,000-strong U.N. peacekeeping mission known as UNIFIL that has been stationed in the region for years. About 200 more were expected next week."

This from an article about Israel and Lebanon and the conflict there; France wanted this huge cease fire and sends in 49 soldiers? Then possibly 200 more later next week and all week long articles about how they may not be able to send the number of troops needed.

Someone should take their seat away at the table. First WWII and their ignorant handling of Hitler, then the money for Saddams oil, and now this? France is no longer our ally - America needs to wake up and realize they are a fascist anti American nation. How can we kick them off the security council?

Now that the neo-cons are coming to understand that the USA public may not allow them to invade Iran are these rabid right-wingers looking for a quick and easy victory to displace their negative poll numbers? Rove’s renewed campaign "The terrorists are coming! The terrorists are coming! needs alot of help to increase public fears.

It worked for Reagan after daddy Bush as head of the CIA got caught committing treason by trading arms to a declared enemy (Iran) and when it all finally came out his administration got caught in a nasty little scandal of their operatives selling drugs (cocaine) to arm, train and fund the Contras, a vicious neo-con terrorist, anti-government group in Nicaragua.

So in 1979, Reagan invades Granada after its citizens toppled the corrupt government of Eric Gairy in a bloodless coup d'état, and established a new government that freely chose to rather than continuing being a US puppet government sought to align itself with the peoples of Russia and Cuba

Should there be two charges brought or one?

I have a dilemia because I feel so guilty that I am even pondering this but, my wife and I have known a couple for quite a while now and we consider them to be dear friends. However, we think that the husband of the couple may be aiding the terrorist effort somehow. They are from Palestine and after 9/11 he went to the middle East on "business". We didn't think anything of it. Then, the terror plot that was foiled earlier this month was reported. The NEXT DAY he packed his things and went to the middle east on "business"? The trip was not planned in advance or anything like that. Something just all of a sudden came up. Do you think that this can all be a coincidence? Both my wife and I have a bad feeling about him, but we are concerned about reporting him to the FBI because what if it turns out to be nothing? They are close friends and we don't want to do anything that could hurt them. Would it be possible to report them anonomously? What would you do?

I'll make a deal with you pro's... I'll support your amnesty on two conditions... ONLY

1) You all receive felonies (after citizenship). Therefore you can't sponsor anyone for a legal residence. And you cannot vote. You can't be involved in federal programs either, until you're 30 year probation has ended. All your children must be put up for adoption.

--AND--

2) You must be nuetered or spayed

Deal?

IT is getting ready to bust soon if we do not wake up to the reality we can not go on like this much longer .
The hype is beginning to fail and the real hard truth is we have sold out our futures for a one night stand and we will not be able to just shower and wash it away we will have to live with it .
We bought the dog and pony show hook line and sinker and for the last 30 years we have been riding high .
Secretly knowing the truth and waiting to get caught in the lie but it did not happen until now .
WE must face some difficult decisions if we are going to pull through the next 10 years and come out on top .
OUR leaders have been selling us everything and we have been buying it like there is no tomarrow ,well its here .
HOUSING starts have dropped in half .this means half the work out there last year is gone for millions of americans who make a living building buying selling and manufacturing home products .
SOME will call this a temporary slow down but it's reality setting in .

Does anyone on this forum know whether professor Jose Angel Gutierrez, Political Science Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington, is the same guy who was quoted as saying “If worse comes to worse we have to kill the gringo”. If it is him, why does he still have a job supported by United States taxpayers???????????

Last night I was watching what used to be called the McLauglhin group and John McLaughlin was insisting that passports indicate whether bearers are muslim. That's nuts. Muslim is a religion.

Elanor Clift was trying to tell him he was wrong but I think she deferred out of politeness to his host status and his obvious and increasing dementia. He use to be really sharp.

I've noticed several ideas (like amnesty) that would seem as though the liberals would support it; but as soon as a Republican puts her or his name to it the said liberal is staunchly against said idea.
