This from an article about Israel and Lebanon and the conflict there; France wanted this huge cease fire and sends in 49 soldiers? Then possibly 200 more later next week and all week long articles about how they may not be able to send the number of troops needed.
Someone should take their seat away at the table. First WWII and their ignorant handling of Hitler, then the money for Saddams oil, and now this? France is no longer our ally - America needs to wake up and realize they are a fascist anti American nation. How can we kick them off the security council?

They lied they said they would be a dominant force over there to get Israel to leave. They are no better then Iran. They are all in bed together.

France just wants to sit on it's rear while we deal with everything. The whole reason other wars are starting like Israel and Lebanon is because we are overextended dealing with Afghanistan and Iraq. If N. Korea starts anything then we are really SOL. I don't really like the idea of the wars we started still being a problem this late in the game at all but France isn't going to do anything to help anyone.

What? The French Republic is now somehow Fascist? No, they don't like us, but that's beause they're the one country with an ego as big as ours -- of course we're not going to agree (we have very different cultural histories). No one in their right mind would actually blame the French for Hitler -- Chamberlain and Britain were just as responsible for the policy of appeasement as the French were, and the French paid a MUCH higher price for that mistake (occupation). Just because they don't agree with us doesn't make them our enemies, genius. Believe it or not, we DON'T rule the world, and we actually depend on having friends abroad to make sure that terrorists don't multiply and bomb us every day.
Oh, and do you actually think that France shouldn't have pressed for a cease-fire? Or are you just an angry anti-French American?

I think when your enemies are making fools of themselves you get out of the way and let them have the floor.
I think if the French believe they can disarm the terrorist with 200 troops I say more power to them. If they can't handle the job they need to get out of the way. They don't have enough troops to disarm the terrorist residing in France how long did the car burning riots last?

France is only interested in their image. They treat immigrants to their country terrible (see riots in the streets) Their unemployment is out of sight, and the civil liberties are horrible. Check out how long they can hold you in jail without charges. They lie, cheat and steal, having a mistress is normal, french women have to live with it I guess. Millions of under the table money to Saddam to get cheap oil, and they say the US is after oil? They want prestige without payment, power without pain, and constatly break their promises, i.e. the peace keeping force to Lebanon. They will move in as soon as enough troops are there to keep them safe

Listen, I am a Vietnam Veteran, one who should hate the French, I am going to tell you, I fought along side the French, and many things they are. Cowardly they are not. Listen, they work 30 hours a week and have national health care, and take two hour lunches. The French came to our aid in the American revolution, he French underground fought bravely against the Nazis in WWII. Stop bashing the French!

France hasn't been our friend for years. But they will be if someone tries to invade their country again. Help me Help me. Does anyone remember the first Gulf war when France wouldn't let Americans aircraft's fly over their territory? Do you also remember how we accidentally bombed their embassy in Iraq?

France for many years have been communist cowards. The reason France has to be made to look good is, we live in a New World Order. They must appear to be important. It's all a staged act.Everything that is happening today is happening to divert attention from what is really going on.
