So what do you think? Is the fact that many of them are drawing welfare and getting free medical and requireing all schools to provide spanish speaking teachers and menus in spanish and spainsh channels on cable that I have to pay for and sueing border farmers and stealing their money/land not bother anyone but me?

You've named three different and unrelated categories.

Illegal immigrants are Illegal aliens that intend to stay here. Legal immigrants are legal aliens that intend to stay here. Illegal and legal are not the same. One means following the law, the other means breaking it.

Domestic terrorists have almost exclusively been US citizens, not aliens (legal or otherwise).

They're LEGAL IMMIGRANTS, NOT DOMESTIC TERRORISTS! If you don't like any of the Spanish channels on cable, then you DON'T HAVE TO WATCH THEM! It doesn't bother me because I'd rather see them get the help they need while they find work and finally get a job. Oh, and I don't see anything wrong with having schools provide spanish speaking teachers and seeing menus written in spanish. They're getting free medical becuase they can't afford it. They came here with very little or no money at all, with hopes of a better life.

How can they be a "Legal Immigrant" if they're already an "Illegal Alien?"

Trust me, bud...it bothers a whole lot more people than you. Too many people in the country who have soft hearts and hard heads too easily confuse "immigration" with "illegal entry." Illegal doesn't mean a sick bird, y'all (ILL-EAGLE...get it?) ...it means something is "against the law!"

And once the border is crossed illegally, the law has been broken and you become therefore a "law-breaker" otherwise known as a "criminal."

Go into any other country in the world and demand free medical care, demand teachers speak Spanish and demand that all government documents be translated for you. See what happens...if you live long enough to witness it.

I'll keep it simple if no American was to hire this illegals they would have no reason to come to America.Americans hire illegal aliens because they work cheap ask for no health insurance and Benefits . The system has been broken for so long and will remain broken till the U.S.A takes steps to deal with this issue.Politics and Washington are responsible for ignoring this issue. The States are the ones that have to deal with this issue because Washington has not and will not.Charge the employer who is hiring this people in breaking the law fine and or jail time or both. Stop the idea that the state in question has to adapt to this situation . I can go on and on with this issue but will stop at this point.We need to send illegal aliens back to there home land and charge Mr.Smith with hiring illegals till then and only then will we start taking America back .

People are upset over the illegals that are dying fleeing across our borders. Do these citizens stop to think that they are the ones helping to get them killed, along with President Bush and his amnesty program? (This program that is the antithesis of our terrorists program.)

These people wouldn’t be in these deserts if they weren’t assured of jobs and government intervention. They are not stupid people, contrary to popular belief.

They know there are people that will help them evade the law by calling it their “Christian Duty.” They know they will receive welfare, WIC, housing, medical care, and other government subsidies upon entry. They know someone will hire them since the employers won’t pay a living wage to the American people. They know that they will be protected by the government when they say, “I’m pregnant” because their child is now a US citizen.

Now what do our older and less affluent US citizens know?

They know that they will be turned down for health care unless they are dying. They know that preventative care won’t happen for them. They know that our social security is in trouble yet the government is willing to give it to illegals. They know they have been turned down for SS even when they have needed it most due to medical conditions that make it just about impossible to work. They know they are stuck in dead end, low paying jobs because they can’t pass physicals and the government says, “You have a job so you don’t need help.”

Both sides know a lot and it’s causing hard feelings that at some point will cause deaths in the streets and not just during crossings. Feelings will intensify when the old and needy have had just one too many deaths of their friends because they couldn’t get help before a crisis took them.

We haven’t properly screened illegals for diseases. We now have diseases coming back into the schools that we had thought eradicated. Our children are in danger since several of these diseases are antibiotic resistant.

We haven’t run background checks to see if we have felons crossing. Many of the illegals in our prison systems were violent from the start. People want to give them a chance without thinking of US citizens’ safety.

Now we’ve had another terrorist threat that could have happened on our borders instead of coming out of the U.K. toward the U.S. borders. If this had happened on our borders, someone would have given the terrorist water, food, and directed them to the nearest government agency to get their SS and housing.

I have friends from other countries. I love them all. They care enough for themselves and us to go through legal channels. They know that it is in the best interest of this country, its citizens, and themselves to stop disease, violence, and bigotry at the border.

My foreign friends will tell you, “Show your respect for this country, its citizens, and us, its new found friends.”

I think the illegal immigration problem needs to be dealt with and some firm policy needs to be set down once and for all. I don't think illegal immigrants should be able to get the same benefits as citizens or legal immigrants. I also am a firm believer in immigrants learning to speak English. I do not think that people should be given special treatment, they need to learn to speak English.

As to your initial question, how could illegal aliens possibly be legal immigrants? The two are opposites.

●abuse federal programs sucking billions out of our taxes
●rob our country of revenue by sending $$billions INTO their country (money lost to the USA forever)
●destroy neighborhoods by living so many in a house it cannot be maintained, trashing the yards, loud music, fighting, causing decent families to move away.
●demand rights they don't have
●protest the USA
●disrespect our flag by flying it below theirs.(theirs represents the very country that wouldn't take care of them, wouldn't bring in more trade, wouldn't help them when they needed it to the point they fled to the USA)
●bring in dangerous, deadly and incurable disease by not being screened
●consist of drug runners, rapists, pedophiles, thieves, murderers, terrorists.
●overburden our schools
●require medical care they cannot pay for, causing 100's of hospitals to close their doors.
●refuse to learn our language
●refuse to assimilate
●want to divide our people and diverse cultures with their attack on our citizens of all colors and national origins (they have verbally and sometimes physically attacked our whites, blacks, Native Americans, Chinese, Asian, Korean, Irish,....)

That is NOT the way to assimilate or gain any affection from the American citizens of the USA.

Contrary to what some people are led to believe, the USA economy will NOT crumble without illegal immigrant workers and lettuce won't go to $5.00 a head. If farmers won't hire legal American citizens or legal immigrants to pick their fruits and veggies for a decent wage then that farmer will allow his produce to rot in the fields. It will be HIS loss. He would be better off paying a decent wage to legal people and getting the job done.

It bothers plenty of people. Pay attention.
