It is well known that there is a greater incidence of PNE in liberals whose parents were enuretic compared to those families with no parental history. If both parents were bed-wetters, their children have a 77% chance of having NE; and if only one parent had been enuretic, the incidence drops to 43%

I don't see much, first if we had freedom we could chose from more canidates instead of just two parties. Second if we had true liberty we wouldn't have so much regulations, just think you need government approval for most anything now. Third if we were free to pursue happiness we wouldn't have all this red tape in life and could develop our own idea of happiness.

Seriously! Why do some conservatives assume that anyone who hates Bush must hate the USA, too? After all, Bush isn't America, and America isn't Bush. For that matter, he doesn't even represent the majority of Americans. His approval ratings prove it! By the way, I'm a liberal Democrat, and I LOVE THE USA!!!:)

In a society of immigrants, where government and corporations, so avidly pursue survey after survey, to collect data about ethnicty, do we really understand the meaning of such common terms as Anglo, Hispanic, Caucasian, and why these terms are mostly used incorrectly (either as all-inclusive or mutually-exclusive)?

Obviously in a free enterprise system corporations should be able to make it on their own but they love the handout from the government, which benifits the share holders who are usually well off.So if they get welfare why so much anger about a poor person getting a helping hand?

My son is 3, and I took him to a dentist and they would not let me go back with him. Needless to say, I left and found a different dentist. Is this legal? It was just for a cleaning and checkup, and it was his first time. But they don't allow parents out of the waiting area for any reason.

I'm a US citizen (born in Minnesota) who has lived most of his life in Canada but still has the right to vote in the States. I just received a mail-in ballot for US Senator and US Representative District 5. Unfortunately, I know nothing about the candidates. I'll do some research before I vote, but was wondering if anyone knows dirt on any of the candidates. I usually vote Democrat, am anti-war, pro-choice, and basically want peace and love for everyone. Which horse do I back? Also, can someone please explain the roles of Senator and US Rep? AND, what is voting deadline ? (would you believe that info was not included in my ballot?!)

At 9:30 tonight, Iraq takes longer than WW II

August 18, 2006

We're counting from the day Germany declared war on the US (December 11, 1941) to VE day (May 8, 1945). This is 1244 days. The Invasion of Iraq began on March 20, 2003 at 21:34 EST when the US began their first air strike on Baghdad. ( And to think the Bush supporters said the Iraq war would be easy )

On August 15, 2006 21:30 EST the United States will have been at war in Iraq longer than it was at war with Germany in World War II.
