I am on probation. my fiance is serving a 4 year prison term in california. I am going to request permission to visit him from my probation officer. Has anyone ever known anyone in the same position as me that has been able to visit a loved one in prison, with permission of course?

I was leaving work tonight and I seen a black widow on a bush by my car. Then when I get home I see ab bat sleeping by the ones window that was completely open with no screen. Is this freaky or what? All within 15 minutes of eachother ... Does any one else think it's a bad sighn or bad Omen?

In the UK we have an Head of State who is not elected. A job as prime Minister to which many in the country cannot aspire to (1 religion is barred from the post). In the USA to become President you need megabucks. Are these really the best examples of democracy?

Why do none of our spinless leaders have the balls to confront the warhawks Bush Rumsefeld and Cheney to tell them that their flawed Foreign Policy is not working.
