There is not an Israel/Palastine conflict because there wasn't a Palastine! The whole talk of a Palastinian homeland is a propaganda scam by the Muslim Arabs. Israel occupied the Golan Heights, The West Bank, The Sinai, and Gaza in 1967 because Syria, Jordan, and Egypt started a war with Israel to destroy that country. After 6 days, Israel was beating the 3 Arab countries so badly that they wanted a cease fire. Israel had pushed the Arabs out of those areas and needed to occupy them until a peace treaty could be negotiated, because they needed defensible borders.

Israel agreed to the cease fire because of their respect for human life. They continued to occupy those areas because one of their conditions for a peace treaty was that the opposing country would acknowledge the right of Israel to EXIST! The 3 Arab countries refused to acknowledge this.

Anwar Sadat of Egypt couragously acknowledged Israel's right to exist, a peace treaty was signed, Israel gave back The Sinai, Egypt gave Israel Gaza, and a short time later, Sadat was assignated!

A state of war has continued to exist between Israel; Syria and Jordan since 1967. The Arabs that live in the West Bank are not "Palastinians", they are Jordanians! The Arabs that live in the Golan Heights are Syrians! The Arabs that lived in Gaza before the treaty were Egyptians. There were no Palastinians! There are no Palastinians! The American press is anti-Israel. How could they not be and still perpetuate such lies. The world press is anti-Israel, they know what the history of the conflict is yet they continue to distort what is going on!

I am not a Jew. I have no axe to grind, no reason to be biased. I am 63 y/o and have warched the Moslem Arabs try to distroy Israel all of my life. I have watched this conflict as current events
for over 50 years, so I can clearly see the difference between what the Muslim Arabs do and what they say.

Why do I keep saying Muslim Arabs instead of just Arabs? Am I a bigot? No! It's because there are a small minority of Christian Arabs and they are not the ones commiting the aggresion against Israel. Don't I know that there are Muslims, including Muslim Arabs who do not approve of the terrorism commited by other Muslims? Sure I do. But the truth is the truth is the truth, and no amount of political correctness can change the truth. The truth is worth more than all the political correctness in the world!

Born Again seems to have some problems with an inconsistancy in language. When Arabs conquer land by military force it becomes legally theirs. When the British conquer land that was controlled by the Ottoman Empire in the 1st World War,
They are stealing it. He neglects to say that though the Ottoman Empire was Muslim, it wasn't Arab it was Turkish! So, the Turks ruled that land in the Middle East for 400 years, the British ruled it since 1917; they, with the approval of the United Nations, founded
the country of Israel in 1948, and somehow that was stealing it from the Arabs! What Nonsense!

It will not be long, before Israel is tempted to reinvade Lebanon. And as long as there is no substantial change in the US fundamentalist vision, the same destructive US policy that has pushed Iraq back into pre-modern chaotic times is going to be attempted in Lebanon.

Therefore, we can say that we have only witnessed the first phase in a long conflict over the future of Lebanon, intertwined with the longer conflict over the future of Palestine.

The renewed lethal Israeli air raids on Gaza in the first day after the ceasefire in Lebanon is a precursor of worse to come.

To sum up, Hizbollah’s achievement may indicate that the days of the US empire in the Middle East are numbered and nearly over. However in history “nearly” can take years.

These can be dangerous years in which we who live in this area - especially the Palestinians - are going to undergo tough times.

The land of "Israel" should be split in half. The northern half would be Palestine and the southern half Israel.

In the middle occupying Jerusalem would be the new U.N. HQ with a corridor that divides these lands from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea. Stationed there should be 200,000 man Rapid Reaction Force capable of delivering a serious smack down to ANYONE in the region that acts out of line.

15. What is Zionism?
Zionism is claimed to be political expression of Jewish nationalism. Before first World War most Jews were against Zionism and today not all Jews are Zionist. Zionism has become a form of racism and the UN in 1975 ruled "Zionism is a form of racism and radical discrimination," which wants to create Palestine [now Israel] into an exclusive Jewish country.

17. Is Anti Zionism a form of Anti Semitism?

18. What is Intifada?
It literally means "shaking off", and in this context it means to set free from the Israeli oppression. The first intifada started on 8th Dec 1987 when four Palestinian men queuing at a checkpoint into Gaza were crushed to death by an Israeli army transporter. The second Intifada started on 28th Sept 2000 when Sharon with over 2,000 Israeli soldiers desecrated the Al Aqsa Mosque and killed 4 people.
