What the heck do any of those things have to do with joining the air force? Personally I would say if you are looking to join the military, the air force has the least amount of job security, and are not even letting a lot of people re-enlist. If you'd like to join choose a different branch.

Although the military has traditionally been the place you go when you are "drifting" I'm not sure it's right for you right now. Under the current conditions, it's probably not much of an escape. If you are "too much of a wuss to talk to girls", then how good are you gonna be at shooting somebody?

Think about it carefully the military can be a very rewarding career where youll meet lots of good people.

However you may also have to consider if you are prepared to sacrafice alot of your social life and work long hours when required.

You should also carefully consider whether you are prepared to fight for your country overseas.

One other thing aswell relationships in the military can be very hard to continue longterm because of the demands of the job.

But if youve considered all of these things then i would say go for it, give it a shot.

Good luck

What made you decide Air force have you talked with all the recruiters and found the best possible choice for you and also take into consideration as to what you want to achieve, what job you want, who can guarantee you that job. And if its about chicks the military is not going to issue you one and women are hard to find around post or bases.

Do you like the thought of killing people? And does the chance that you could lose your life excite you? Unless you live here in Canada or some other peace keeping country I wouldn't endorce joining any military. Unless you have a death wish of course. Why don't you combine your interests and meet some girls online? I met my boyfriend online. Check out the link below, it's fun and free!!

I'm not trying to knock the military but if you join any kind of forces, you are taking a great chance of being sent to Iraq. Do you really want to take a chance like that? Don't give up on yourself, you're worth more alive than dead. Because if you are in another country fighting a war,the problems that you are having here won't seem so bad over there because you will be too busy trying to fight for your life.

It's not for everyone, but it certainly can open a lot of doors for you later on. I work with several guys who retired from the Navy after 20 yrs, they are like 38, and they get full retirement plus work a full time job. Not too shabby.

Yeah, you should joing for the adventure, stick with the airforce--- I think it's better. I was in Army and when I look back at it I actually had fun, and it was always something different everyday... I think you could at least travel, see new faces, and get away from being bored. Good luck!
