Unless you think a fiscal Conservative means spending more than you bring in, why aren't conservatives more upset that this Republican party that calls itself conservative isn't practicing conservative fiscal policy at all.

When the conservatives gained control of Congress, didn't you expect spending to be under better control? Are you surprised that spending has increased at the same rate as when the liberals controlled Congress?

Let's hear from you Conservatives...why doesn't this bother you, or does it?

Why has the United States opted to keep its death penalty (even in light of its ridiculousness in punishing suicidal terrorists), as the world is turning against the archaic and barbaric sanction? Human rights leadership now comes not from the most developed and "influential" (read "leading") country in the world, the U.S., but from the European Union. Why has the U.S. invited the scorn of enlightened, progressive, civilization-oriented elements worldwide, in the errant effort to retain premeditated killing? People don't respect the U.S. anymore. Now the U.S. has been booted off the U.N. Human Rights Council (since 2001). Why invite the distrust and disrespect of educated, enlightened people all over the world?

many american's philosophy is "love it or leave it"

of course they are reffering to people in america who complain too much, therefore should leave since they are unsatisfied

well, when (legal) mexicans come into the united states and wave mexican flags (which is completely legal, within their rights, and not against the law), speak spanish, spread their culture, religion, and heritage, why do people complain about this?

this is america! the melting pot for all races. of course a group of people who come from another land are gonna bring their culture and some of their country with them.

and yet, so many people complain that america needs to be rid of a lot or all of "mexico"

so my question is, isn't it true that since america is now odopting some of mexico's style, it has become part of america? and those complaining should either love it or leave it?

How about this: Anyone who wants to run for public office designs a flyer, which is mailed by the government to the voters' homes, and if a determined number of people sign their support, this person is on the ballot and receives a certain amount from the government (based on the office and possibly other factors, number of people in voting pool, etc..) to spend on their campaign and are not allowed to spend a penny more.

if people don't like the fact that this comes from their tax money, keep in mind that when corporations finance campaigns, they're planning to get the money back from your tax money anyway.

any ideas, suggestions, criticism?

President Bill Clinton was the best president any country in the world could ask for. He gave America a strong Economy and 9/11 didnt happen under his administration because he protected the homeland and Protected Americans Privacy and civil liberties.

In my nephews class today His teacher pointed to a map of the middle east gestured to iran and asked what country it was.
According to my nephew this is what was answered by some of the other student's :

"That country is Al Qaeda..."
"Al Qaeda is a guy..."

These are high school students.

The war of lebanon have risk countless of innocent life, people of around the world gather to help lebanon some in a good way & some are extreme like sending 'Troop' of jihad to fight israel, I'm not siding anyone, there is just one thing that bothers me why they always using Suicide bombing?
