YES, I REALLY DO SUPPORT OUR TROOPS AND MILITARY. Being a young Army wife whose husband is on his second year long deployment to Iraq, my respect for the military is immense. I personally know and feel the struggles of being a military family member. Everyday I worry about my husband, I pray that he is okay and I hope that I can possibly hear from him today. The way I support our troops is by voicing my opinion and sharing my pride with others, being a strong wife for my husband, praying for our troops and participating in what I can on post. Pay isn't great, so it's not quite possible to send every soldier or troop something but believe me my respect for our troops makes up for that.
I really appreciate the perspective that was given by jeffster301, it really is the truth. Even though I personally enjoy some of the civilian comforts that are listed, I personally feel the pain/pride of knowing my husband is in a combat zone, fighting for our country, not knowing when I will hear from him next but knowing my love for him is so very strong that nothing can break it.

I support our troops. They are going into adverse conditions without adequate equipment or protection. Because of the liberals, the training they get is not strict enough, The Drill Sargents aren't allowed to do the job they are supposed to do. So our troops need all of our support. We need to contact our representatives and demand to know why our son, husbands, daughters, wives, mothers, and fathers are going into battle without the required equipment.
My son is currently in the Army serving in Korea until November. He is applying for flight school and should be accepted. My husband is retired USMC and my dad served in the Navy during WWII. I have no concept of what it means to place my life on the line for people I don't know or to watch the men I work with everyday die. However, I can appreciate the sacrifices that have been made and make sure they weren't in vain.
Long live Freedom!!!
Weekend Warrior: I am betting that the large majority of our soldiers are better educated than you are and are not ghetto. I know my son is not , he has a bachelor's degree, and went into the military because the civilian jobs just weren't there. Instead of playing soldier, go put your money where your mouth it.

Yes, I CARE!!! I care because they risk their lives for ours! They go out to the Marines, Army, Air Force etc. at 18 years old to fight for our freedom and take time out of their life to protect ours. It is a part as a citizen of the USA to support 100% our troops even if you disagree with the president. If anyone would tell you not to support them ( the troops ) they are not an American!
Support our troops!
Any questions or comments can me emailed to

I will be the first to tell you about the military!

I support them as human beings doing a brave and honorable thing, but I don't support the war, and I think all the troops should be brought home.
Despite what a lot of people are saying, it is very possible to support the troops and not the war... There are no anti-troop shirts, just anti-war shirts...

Absolutely, I support our Military and Troops! I served myself and happy to have done so. Our Military keeps America Free. It allows us to say what we think and when we want to! Americans have paid the price in blood since American got her Independence! If it wasn't for the military the world would have already gobbled us up. Russia, China, Japan, Germany, we would have already been history! The world is a bad place, and they will destroy you at the first sign of weakness!

I support them through prayer. (I am a college student right now, so I can't make a financial donation. I have too many health concerns to join the Army as well.)
The men and women in our armed forces sacrifice themselves selfishlessly for our country every day. It is a big thing to be able to sleep peacefully at night without fear.
