I'm a US citizen (born in Minnesota) who has lived most of his life in Canada but still has the right to vote in the States. I just received a mail-in ballot for US Senator and US Representative District 5. Unfortunately, I know nothing about the candidates. I'll do some research before I vote, but was wondering if anyone knows dirt on any of the candidates. I usually vote Democrat, am anti-war, pro-choice, and basically want peace and love for everyone. Which horse do I back? Also, can someone please explain the roles of Senator and US Rep? AND, what is voting deadline ? (would you believe that info was not included in my ballot?!)

Do your research and not on this forum. Check with the League of Women Voters - they do profiles on the candidates. Check the past records of the candidates and not just the media hype.

Above all, don't trust what you read on these to be "truth" or reality based.

I'm also from MN. I haven't yet looked into the candidates. I do know that whoever is going against Kennedy has a pretty good shot with me. I can't stand these phony commercials that air all the time.. He's full of ####!!
