I would like to become involved in politics, but I feel like my being a midget causes people to take me less seriously. shouldn't they just consider my views though? I'm solidly against gay marriage and gay adoption, prolife, antiimmigration, and for the posting of the ten commandments in schools and courthouses. shouldn't that be enough?

In both national, state and local political campaigns you will hear this repeatedly after their commercial, "I approve this message"! I've been hearing one lately from a Jim Talent in Missouri running for some office and he is in the commercial and he ends up saying "And I approve this message". That's about the stupidest comment I've ever heard and I can't understand stand why someone would add it to their campaign message!

Media have reported the government is discussing with British airport authorities a system of profiling -- where security staff focus their search efforts on people they regard as suspicious on grounds such as ethnicity and religion.

Israel has blown up all electricity and water supply in Gaza Strip in order to avenge one soldier kidnapped by some unknown militia. They are punishing 1.5 million people for the loss of one man, who may not even be responsible.

I heard on an interview, Israeli ambassidor to England say that this was done to prevent Palestinians from smuggling the soldier out of Palestine!!! How do you use electricity or water to smuggle out a soldier??? The electric supply is so badly damaged that it will take an year to restore. Do you believe mass punishment of a subjugated population will solve the problem of Israelis? Do you have doubts they are civilized???

Am I the only one who would be tempted to keep him prisoner myself (say in the garage), so that he could do no harm, but so that the authorities would carry on looking for him?

Wouldn't it be amusing to take him places around the world and take pictures of him, then send them as postcards to Bush and Blair, saying "Guess where I am? Wish you were here?"

Or are you the mean spirited sort who would have him committed to a psychiatric unit under a false name, because he believed he was Osama Bin Laden?

I'm not saying the US is perfect. However, you would think there would be some balance to their rhetoric.

Let's look at the facts surrounding the run-up to the Iraq invasion:
Iraq was involved in 9/11. Fact: Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11. But with loads of innuendo and doublespeak, the Bush Administration made it seem that way.

Ahmed Chalabi was a great candidate to run Iraq. Sure, if you don't mind a convicted felon in power. Chalabi was convicted of embezzlement in the late 80's. He's wanted in Jordan. And he was handpicked by Bush to run Iraq. So where is he know? We've raided his offices several times due to the fact that they are suspect of helping the insurgency.

Iraq had mobile weapons labs. No. Those were mobile weather labs sold by the British in the late 90's. And the british have confirmed that there were NO modifications as the White House as stated.

Iraq has WMDs. So far zero. I know that repubs/cons will be screaming about this one, but those stockpiles that have been found WERE accounted for by the U.N. inspectors. Even the White House has denied the findings.

September 11, 2001 is a day that many of us will remember. If was shortly after, as I recall, that Bush decided to go into Iraq and Afghanistan to fight terrorism. Since then, his approval rating has significanlty decreased, and I've seen more Bush bashers here on Answers, than I have on all of CNN and CBS combined.

My question for you is this: what would YOU have done differently if you were Commander in Chief? How would you have handled the terrorist attacks on U.S. soil?

Please give honest answers.

I'm not wanting to get into a political debate with you. I'd just like to know what you would have done differently.

It may seem like they aren't because they've done very little to overtly show it off, but paradoxically I think that's main reason why they are.
