Bush is no where near to what you think my friend....

He is a self-centered.......war profiteer......

The only solution to terrorism is to have a crystal-clear political system and also laws which are more favorable to the common man and not industrial giants who have lousy politicians as their joint directors.

terrorism is a genetic waste of Politics......so first ....get the political structure protected....

The real solution to terrorism is for the general public to educate themselves so that they become truly aware who the terrorists are.
I'll tell you here and now that they are not who you believe they are.
If everybody became aware who the terrorists were, we would all have a very different approach to our governments, and our police forces. We would take back our power, instead of delegating it to a bunch of power-crazed opportunists, and we would ensure that the whole method of government was updated. How can you be truly represented by someone who has never met you and who hasn't the slightest idea, or care, about what you think. We are operating with the same number of representatives as we were when the population was a quarter of what it is now. If government was good before, it can be only one quarter as good now.

We need to change everything, very quickly, and terrorism will simply disappear. Believe me, the terrorists will disappear when the current government, and method of government disappears.
If we change the government to be truly democratic, and truly representative, so that we have small areas which are totally responsible for their own well power, with central government having very little or no power, then we will be back in control of our own lives and our own welfare.
There would be no terrorism if within our area we all knew each other and we all participated in our own government on a regular basis. If we had a governmental area of a maximum of 500 families, we would be able to help each other to achieve our desires, and nobody would be left feeling lonely and bearing a grudge.

There is no road to peace. Peace IS the road!

When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.

If we passed an international law that would prohibit any government from ordering it's troops to war unless that government's leader (prime minister or president or chancellor) fights on the front line. we may get closer to peace. Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld would never ever dare declare war if they actually had to fight in it! They are COWARDS.

This should stop enough wars so to prevent the injustice that create the circumstances in which terrorism can flourish.

On top of this, global education programmes to enlighten humanity and show that we are all human and all equally valuable, no religion or sect is superior to any other.

Inequity is the cause of terrorism and it's only solution is equity amongst all of the world people, and I don't mean just the middle east. I posted a question about an hour ago asking who said "if there is a just god we are going to pay for this" and none of the patriots out there know that it was Thomas Jefferson in regards to slavery, well America has yet to pay for it's heinous history here or abroad and until it along with it's cronies start taking legitimate steps to correct the inequities it has thrust upon the world there will be terrorism.

Terrorist :
kill civilians
have no clear cause or reason for the attacks on ppl
terror groups are used by the occupiers to subdue the ppl like in Iraq and Palestine.
Bombing airports, electricity stations, water stations, schools ,road ,media centers, hospitals , apartments , and killing civilians. This a good example for terror groups world wide.
Freedom fighter can be called terrorist by a government Gorge Washington was called terrorist by the English ans so was Mandela.
A real solution is to make a distinction between crimes against humanity and freedom fighters. Local gangs are true terrorist too. mismanagement of public institution which lead to killing civilians is terrorism.

sorry there will always be terrorism because humans cannot compromise or forgive. any compromise is taken as either a defeat of the enemy and spurs on further terrorism or is seen as not far enough with the same effect.
anyone that thinks blowing himself up will bring about change is living in a dream world, terrorists have achieved virtually nothing other than isolate their countrys from the world community.
when 9/11 happened american support for the IRA dried up and led to peace in NI. so perhaps the wallet is the best place to hit terrorists, sieze the property of anyone who supports terrorism with zero tolerance.

No Bush will not take a lead. It is sad to say but I don't think that terrrorism will end because of the difference in religion. The people in those countries believe that they have to sacrifice their lives for freedom we on the other hand so called have freedom. They want what they don't have and will stop at nothing to get it.

some historical facts:
About one thousand years ago, in the place which is now Syria and Iraq, there was a strong Islamic terrorist movement, called Hashishim (assassins in modern language English) they murdered important people and were killed (similar to suicide bombers) this terror movement was stopped by the sultan at that time, who killed millions from the population supporting these terrorists.
This solution is impossible today, it's unthinkable to kill a few hundred million Muslims to stop terror

The only answer is to sanction and war with countries that support terrorists. Eventually the will have nukes and that's a fact. People are worried about innocent Lebanese dieing? What about the 30 million American, British, and other freedom loving countries peoples that will die when this fateful day eventually comes. Time is short. We must stop them while we can.

The ultimate solution is the same as in any conflict. It takes 2 parties to have a conflict. If you eliminate 1 of the parties, then there is no conflict. One side or the other must be completely eliminated.

This question was never about Islam but about terrorism. Don't make the mistake of not seeing a difference. Remember that the majority of muslims do not agree with the extremist ideas of those who commit terrorist acts, just like (hopefully) most of the American people do not agree with Bush's warped ideas.
