I asked a question on here a few hours ago and listed FACTS to support my argument. Yet all the cons could do was claim I was lying. Yet they didn't post anything that backed up their claims. Why is that?

There was a time in our history when the right to vote was only for citzens who owned land. At least the real vote doesn't come down to the uneducated liberals and their poor masses.

the easies route up north? Look I know living in Mexico is hard, but you can't expect legal rights from a country that you came in illegally. There other people from countries way worse than Mexico who wish to come here legally but are impeded by illegal immigration.

Does the fourth largest lobbyist group in D.C. - AIPAC -, control our Government? And will AIPAC be lobbying for an all out war with Iran? To me, Iraq was yesterday's Iran.

"A million and half children were poisoned by the Ziklon gas during the Holocaust. Now Israel's children were about to be poisoned by radioactivity. For two years we have lived in the shadow if the danger awaiting Israel from nuclear reactor in Iraq. This would have been a new Holocaust . It was prevented by the heroism of our pilots to whom we owe so much." Menachem Begin, Israel Prime Minister, 1982

I am in this program called Police Explorers and they call us volunteers. We do community service and hold our meetings at the police department. Does that classify as working there or do you need to get paid for it to be classified as work? I can get some discounts if I work at the Police Department so I was wondering if this would qualify.

Just looking at what happened in the former Yugoslavia, Rwanda, current Iraq, the former Soviet Union, etc.- am I wrong or did these nations dissolve largely(or face bloody civil war) due to the fact that groups of people in each of these places saw themselves as having different "heritages" rather than uniting together and seeing themselves first as members of a common country with a shared/common culture? If immigrants from first Hispanic countries come here and see no reason to assimilate/share a common language and culture with the larger American society and then immigrants from other nations and languages follow suit (which already seems to be happening from what I see here in Michigan), would it be reasonable to think that such multi-culturalism/"balkanization" within the US would lead to the similar results here? If people don't share a common sense of allegiance to the country they live in first and foremost over any ethnicity/heritage they have, what happens? Any thoughts?

I thought this definition of himself he sent me was pretty close to
clean, well thought out politics. The party affliation itself doesnt matter. Here's what he said.

Message: I too am a fiscal conservative, but would consider a socialized program for healthcare etc.
I am also pro-choice.. a registered republican with a slant.. but I'll play a liberal to fight with the fascists any day of the week

I like it.It's a fresh change from all the gut-hating some Republicans are relying on to defend a corrupt party in an election year.

My son is 11 years old (12 in Dec.) and I have a child care provider that he goes to along with my 8 yr. old and my 22 month old. I just called the school to arrange bussing for him to get to school, just like I did last year. He goes to the middle school this year and they told me that they do not pick up kids from babysitters locations anymore, that they stop that after 5th grade. I was told that they can only pick him up and drop him off at our home address, or someone has to bring him to school. I understand stopping this in high school, but now? There is a bus that picks up kids for his school just down the street from the sitter. I am gone from 6:30 am until 5:45 pm for work and the sitter can not drive him there. They are basically forcing me to have him stay home alone. How can they do this?? If I decide to see how he does being on his own after school for 2.5 hours, can the school be held liable for not offering transportation again this year if something happens to him?

Why everytime do I hear a radio clip, news clip, etc., do I hear George W Bush ranting about what happened at 9/11? It seems he loves to justify his actions in whatever else he does and tie to 9/11...it's all horse-****, and I will tell you why... a woman goes on a killing spree of men- just because her first husband beat her, would killing those other men be justified by her getting beat? NO! Would it be justification that a black man beat down a white man, because of skin color and racial fuckups of the PAST? NO! So, why, please tell me why, that in this country, we actually support this asshole who keeps throwing 9/11 around like a topic at a cocktail party? If he actually was a thoughtful president, and wanted to see this country without fear of terror and all the **** he's been blowing up our asses, I think he would do well if he and the rest of his goons focused on our own problems HERE in the great USA.

I for one believe the Sears Tower. weve been conditioned over the last few weeks for it. We have seen that as a possible target. Or over the Atlantic. Either way it will be one of them two.

Im sure it will happen in November too. Well before the end of it anyways.
Republicans know they are going toose control of the congress and there goes bushs war mongering power. So thats of course when it will happen.

I know this really doesn't have to do with immigration.. I could careless what the people in politics think... I'm more aquainted with those on this forum, both, for and against it--
.. so, I guess you could say im interested in you ;)

....So, I was just thinking about Bush's stuttering... and I was kinda pretending like I was Bush, and explaining that I had a speech impediment-- to not laugh...

...And, I have this perfect "gay" voice.. So, I was acting like Bush...in my "gay" voice LOL... Damn.. I need sleep...

Anyway, I was just wondering what you guys would think if a gay guy ever landed the role of President... Would that be such a bad thing? What would happen to the country? And how would you feel about it?

Lets say he had strong views that everyone LOVED!! And he actually stood up for what he believed in, and for the people. .....What other things would he be doing-- anything strange?

--Rob =P

(No, I'm not gonna be your gay president.. I'm straight, Thanx).

You can see the effect of his dissinformation and fear mongering in the anti islamic posts right here on yahoo.
so when it comes to polarizing people and galvanizing them against a unified oil bearing enemy then Bush has definatley succeeded.

Thanks to the sheep ( republicans) who follow a title.... His "success" will be felt for many generations.
