Why everytime do I hear a radio clip, news clip, etc., do I hear George W Bush ranting about what happened at 9/11? It seems he loves to justify his actions in whatever else he does and tie to 9/11...it's all horse-****, and I will tell you why... a woman goes on a killing spree of men- just because her first husband beat her, would killing those other men be justified by her getting beat? NO! Would it be justification that a black man beat down a white man, because of skin color and racial fuckups of the PAST? NO! So, why, please tell me why, that in this country, we actually support this asshole who keeps throwing 9/11 around like a topic at a cocktail party? If he actually was a thoughtful president, and wanted to see this country without fear of terror and all the **** he's been blowing up our asses, I think he would do well if he and the rest of his goons focused on our own problems HERE in the great USA.

Because it triggers people's emotions. And when most people are emotional and angry, they can't actually think logically.
Most politicians over the past few decades have used the same trick. If you don't want people to actually deal with the merits of an issue, give them something emotional to focus on.

I'll answer with a very appropriate quote.
"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."
-- Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials
With 9/11 the neo-cons can easily push through their agenda. Whenever it is blocked or questioned, turn it around and ask "Why do you want to expose America to another 9.11?" The Patriot Act being a prime example.
*EDIT*
For the brilliant poster below me:
Oklahoma City? Yeah we should attack the country that made that terrorist.
Oh wait...that was THE UNITED STATES.
Timothy McVie anyone? Brilliant argument using a homegrown domestic terrorist.
But the "liberal" media probably made all that up.

Again, such baseless and biased liberal rantings make me laugh. This is such good humor. I thank you!
Down to the point, he uses 9/11 because America was attacked innocently and without any provocation. Also, let's refer back to the '93 WTC bombings, the U.S.S Cole, the Oklahoma City Bombing, the '83 bombing which killed 200+ marines (sorry if my date is wrong), and several US Embassy bombings all around this great Earth. Are those also not justification enough that this country and so many others have suffered greatly under the oppression of terrorism? We've had enough. This world has had enough.
I agree with one thing that Bush has done, and that is his War on Terror. And people like you are the reason he continues to bring up 9/11. You forget either on purpose or just because of the biased liberal media that puts out crap every day. That's right, let's just all forget about 3,000 innocent people getting murdered for absolutely no reason! Great logic in that! Hell! Let's forget all about the Holocaust!
Ignorance truly is bliss.

Because he is a Evil F*** and has nothing good to show for his time as President. He has done nothing for the future of the United States and everybody that voted for him should be ashamed. Feed the rich, forget the poor, rob the middle class, and send men and women to their death for a personal war. 911 should not have happened, many people to blame, and why did the airlines get off so easy? Our government will fail and keep failing until it hits rock bottom, and I think we are there now. Vote Independent and rid this country of the 2 party system!

It is actually a great strategy for him because he is hitting a sensitive spot for citizens of this country. By reminding people of the attacks they will remember all the people that died and become patriotic and defensive of our nation. Otherwise, the little support that he does have probably wouldn't exist. Our government wants to do everything possible in order to make its citizens believe that we are simply fighting for democracy and protecting ourselves. So we justify it as a "war on terror." Give me a break...

Because fear is a great tool of manipulation. The Bush administration uses 9-11 to scare people and put them back in line.
Ironic isn't it?
bin Laden was trying to use fear to get what he wanted. Instead, Bush is using that same fear to get what he wants.

Maybe you think this guy could run on anything other than that (and don't even think about 9/11 being an inside job) and get elected as anything above the rank of hall monitor!

It is the only thing he has to hang on to. It is the only thing that makes him look good to the American people. He thinks the more he brings it up, the more it will justify his actions overseas.

go ahead and express yourself your entitled to do so...but don't ever forget what happened on 9/11...whether its justified or not...a lot of innocent people were killed that day...if you think America should not have defended that alone...you truly are ignorant...get into office and make a difference there...do something constructive to change the world...complaining about it isn't going to change anything...
