I am very conservative and totally American. One of my best friends in College, brilliant guy, was Iranian. So I have some insight in the culture.

Given that, the Iranian President said some things that no one heard. He writes a letter, and we diss it as a publicity stunt. We do not seem to understand that they THINK different than us. He is trying to engage, we are saying you engage our way or no way. Doesn't seem right to me.

By the way, we have killed over 100,000 civilians in IRAQ and causes $ Billions in damage. If another country tried to help us that way, we would be up in arms, sorry, but true.

It seems we both seem to have key differences in thinking based on positions, but from what I heard, our interests are very common against war and destruction.

Anyways, it is a complex and highly polarized issue.

You want my serious opinion?

They don't call Bush a "Cowboy" for no reason ... Cowboys play the perverbial game of Cownboys and Indians. The Indians of the 21 Century are the Arab Nations who refuse to assimilate to the expansionism of democracy, which is the vehicle of the "New World Order." The New World Order, if you understand it is a complete "Global Oneness." This New World Oneness, is what all religions refer to as the Anti Christ. - it is persued through all means that are contrary to Sacred Commandments.

The Iranian President, is the new Chief Sitting Bull. Bush wont talk with Iran because George knows he's Custer.

Custer lied too.

I think you meant "not the axis of evil..." If that is the case I would agree. He seems level-headed, just, and wise.

You know "W"ho the real axis of evil is.

I don't have the link but look around for the Iranian president's letter to "president" Bush. It will confirm you beliefs that he is not the kook.

There is nothing to fear but fear itself.

The interview done by a left wing has been doesn't matter.
I've heard what he and his press sec have said many times...He wants to eleminate Israel, the US and the rest of the western world.
Sounds like anice calm guy to me (once he's dead that is)

He put on quite a show. Worthy of an Oscar? Why would he say that the time of the bomb is over while he's making nuclear weapons? Why did he dodge the question regarding his suicide bomber brigade? Yes, he seemed charming.

No but NPR mentioned that he opened his own blog yesterday.

I could tell they were holding back some nervous laughter, as they read some of it.

Hitler seemed like a nice guy in some of his interviews. It is a guise to draw support.
