Going after people who kill indiscriminately and the people who safeguard them is a good reason to fight instead of just waiting around for them to do it again like we used to do... it resulted in 911.

The American nation is being led along by Neoconservatism - with a bunch of deluded vain-glorious people.
American foreign policy along with our "boyo" Tony Blair think that they can police the world, by bringing it into order with the force of arms.
Just as it did in Korea - Vietnam - Iraq - Afghanistan.
Korea is in stale mate. Vietnam they got beat. Iraq and Afgahnistan is proving to be a disaster.
Their, TB`s & GB`s, support for the Israeli assault in Lebanon has gone the same way.
The Israelis have lost that one both physically and morally, what has it achieved ? They have killed and maimed thousands of innocent Lebanese civilians. estroyed their homes.
Probably leaving the area uninhabitable for many years to come if they have used ammunition containing depleted Uranium, supplied by the US Govt.
Hezbollah have come out on top. They have gained the respect and credibility they much needed. They have have taken on the 4th largest military might on the planet with less thatn 3000 men against Israel`s 40,000.
Another US disaster .

America is fighting (and dying I might add) to maintain the steady flow of oil and to increase the profits of selected companies. Every other reason that is mentioned is pure and simple BS.
For some, that is the right reason.

I have to agree that America isn't fighting at all. The US Gov't is not America...it is a corporate entity as corrupt as this planet has ever seen. Americans are suffering for it.

Yes, it is all about money, oil and pride. They are putting our children on the front line to befit their own selfish goals. It is inexcusable and disgusting.
