What is the easiest way to obtain a work visa. to USA. Would not be a burden. Hard worher and have funds of around $350,000, just want a new life. British citizen

Work visa is sponsored only by employers! So find an American company to work for. You do not need any capital for that, just an airticket after your visa gets done, sometimes companies pay for that too!
By the way you have not specified in which field you are.

Do you have specialized skills? If so, an employer may be more willing to go through the visa application process with you. Search for jobs on websites like http://www.monster.com or http://www.careerbuilder.com . If you are willing to put some of that $350,000 towards moving expenses, indicate on your resume that you will pay your own way (that may also be a big plus for a potential employer).

I would assume you would go to the US embassy and they would give you the information you need to get your work permit,good luck
