This isn't directed at either party, because I've seen both do it. Certain groups seem to have predetermined answers they repeat every time they see a question on a given topic, whether it's relevant to the actual question or not. For instance, some people answer every global warming question with, "There's no such thing!", even though sometimes that's not what's being asked (and don't go there; I'm not taking sides; I just hate it when people do when they clearly have no clue what they're talking about because they haven't read a single article). What's worse is that these responses are straight from political pundits and clearly no research has been done. Even when some of the answerers post links to sites with information from qualified experts, these people refuse to read them. This is true of some askers as well as answerers, and sadly they're learning nothing if they don't bother to read any of the answers before picking the first to say, "You're absolutely right."
