Yeah tricky trucker (hey, you know what that rhymes with don't you!) the US military is a bunch of.....oh get a life. Wait, you have one protected by the people you are bad mouthing. One allowing you the freedom of speech again protected by the US military.

Perhaps you are too experienced with what ever street gang you are in or were in and have (obviously) no concept of what military service means or requires.

And to the others who have responded to tricky here suggesting that he/she join the military....please write back and withdraw your suggestion. Is this the kind of clown you want protecting our country? Do you want to foster this person on those you are now serving? No, of course not. But then again, what are the chances this guy/gal would even qualify for service or pass basic training. I think we are safe from him/her having the opportunity to serve.

Tricky trucker...go back and hang with your homies.

No. That is totally insane. First of all, the men/women in the service signed up for the service to serve/protect/fight for us as a Nation. JUST BECAUSE people aren't happy about the war in Iraq --- that has nothing to do with the reason people join the military. They go where they are told to go under ORDERS that they have no control over. IF NO ONE SIGNED UP FOR THE MILITARY THERE WOULD BE A DRAFT SOOOOOO.........think about that one for a while. I can't believe anyone would even say such a thing.

What do you mean? During our free time back in the states or while were in Iraq. If you say while were in uniform, well I have to say no. I've been in five years and I don't feel or see it, and if you mean off duty, my answer is still no. It may look like it but once a person PCS (change of duty station) he has a 99% chance of never speaking to his/her old friends. Honestly I don't care, if a soldier finds a group of people to hang with and keep his mind of the military stuff, that's OK with me. Sorry if this sound and looks bias.

That is quite an ignorant question. The soldiers in the military follow orders. Mind you, they do have the responsability to do what is morally correct (they are allowed to do this). The military is not bad. Look at who is ordering the military to see where the fault is.
