Just within the last couple of days, my husband who is in the navy and is currently deployed started acusing me of cheating on him and said that he cant be with someone that he doesnt trust. Could his accusations be an attempt at covering up something that he has done? He also continues to throw in my face the guy i dated off and on a year ago while me and him were split up. That is his reason for saying i am cheating, for the fact that i was with another guy a year ago. PLEASE HELP ME! I love my husband with all of my heart and we have a beautiful family together, I dont want to loose him. How do i convince him that i have been faithful since he has been gone?

It's possible that he might be cheating, but I wouldn't read to much into it. I think he is just nervous about him being away, especially with your recent history. He might be accusing you of it to kind of "rub it in" and make sure you remember that he remembers what you did.

Really the only thing you can do is make sure you don't do it again. Be careful not to even be around any other guys because one of the other spouses might see you and they'll tell their spouses, and they'll tell him, so it's best to avoid the apperance of "evil". Some spouses just love to gossip (not all so don't jump down my throat). Just keep your head up it'll be ok.

Send this letter to his Commanding Officer or the seek help on the Navy Base that he is stationed at when he is home. They have family counseling centers on most military bases.

There is only one way to convince him and that is to tell him the truth. It is what it is and you can't change the past. Tell him that you love him and that you would never do anything to hurt him. But let him know that you need him to trust you because it hurts you that he doesn't.
