Do you think that the US allow these sites to continue, and have the ability to stop them?

This is a serious question.
I am flabbergasted by the fact. In the UK we have an understanding that the leader of the country should be intelligent. In the Uk people either like or dislike Tony Blair but everyone respects his intellect and oratory skills. Whereas Bush just seems like an useless baffoon who gets told what to do by advisers. He can hardly string a sentence together.
Bush would never get close to office in the Uk. How could he in America?

All the pro-lifer just about now are supporting Bush for using his first veto on the Stem-Cell Bill. Do the pro-lifers realize that even though that now that stem-cell bill has been vetods it now makes it illegal to use the embryos for science BUT companies that own them can still destroy them, literally flush them down the toilet, they just can't use them for science!! How idiotic, and fascist is this??

Aren't they just preaching to the choir? And if so, isn't that pointless?

A Republican and a Democrat were walking down the street when they came to a homeless person. The Republican gave the homeless person his business card and told him to come to his business for a job. He then took twenty dollars out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person.

The Democrat was very impressed, and when they came to another homeless person, he decided to help. He walked over to the homeless person and gave him directions to the welfare office. He then reached into the Republican's pocket and got out twenty dollars. He kept 15 for administrative fees and gave the homeless person five.

Now you understand the difference

between Republicans and Democrats.

I mean, what kind of paper work is needed? How long does it take to get approved? And how much does it cost? I'm just wondering because we have such a frenzy going on about the "illegals" and getting them out of the U.S. Also, I read somewhere that if an illegal has been in the US for a certain number of years, working, they can become legal...is that true?

Everytime I get the story down pat about how peaceful, loving and gentle the muslims are, I read a newspaper or hear a newscast and then I get all confused. I hope Bush brings democracy to these peole in the next few weeks. I think they need it. I know he can do it. They are very receptive to peaceful and loving solutions to their problems.

our food? 25 years ago NO ONE thought the government would tell people where to smoke. Then they realized that lung cancer was an epidemic like obesity is now. Every single night there is a new story about americans weight, how long before they begin to limit portion sizes and fat content. Oooppps they already have begun, just last week they talked about requiring resturants to use grease with no trans fats etc.

Anyone have an opinion?

Especially since the Bible says that calling someone godless is, well, godless.

Not that I believe that silly book, but she does. So she should know better.

If the US pulled all of its troops out of the Middle East, and it stopped supporting Israel and any efforts to defeat the terrorist outside of America, would the Muslim terrorists lay down their weapons?

How many Conservatives would vote for Rudy Giuliani if he gets the GOP nod or runs independent? I know that the party has a problem with Rudy's pro-choice stand but is that enough to discount a candidate that could actually reach across voting lines. I am not worried about Hillary, I just think the Republicans will front a weak candidate if they stick with tight party lines.

I never received any copies of the conditions of probation that my PO says I violated. I did not know what the conditions violated were until 2 mins before the revocation hearing. I also was not contacted by my court appointed attorney until 2mins before the hearing. I never got a chance to confer with attorney. My PO gave the attorney my old address, and no phone number. when the attorney came out of judges chambers I was told that if I continued to a hearing the judge would give me 2 years in prison, or I could accept 6 months in halfway house right now. I was given 2 mins to make this decision. I chose the lesser of the two evils, feeling like I had no choice. I was never given an opportunity to speak on my behalf or anything. I since then have hire an attorney who put in a motion for new hearing. That was a month ago. Do I have a case against the federal po or anyone. I have been completely blind sided hear. And, my life has been taken from me. It is costing me alot.

I thought that liberals were all for Clinton and were basically hippies, but now that i have viewed some questions on racism, i'm starting to get another perspective on them. It's like they did a flip flop or something. Or are they just people who don't know what they're talking about? (the askers of the racist questions)
