I'm aware that it costs more to have children, but having children is a choice. Should I, a childless tax payer for 18 years, pay more in taxes than someone who has children?

US will place Anti-Missles in Japan as a result of N. Korea.
My question!
If one of the N. Korea missles has a nuclear warhead, should we shoot it down? Geeez!
Shouldn't we shoot it "up".

I am aware of the references which claim that he noted in his farewell speech that he retired due to his feelings that to stay would give him too much power. But I have read the speech and can not find that in it anywhere. I need to find a credible quote in which he says that he retired because he felt that to stay would give him too much power.

Do you think Israel is doing justice by bombing & killing innocent people in Lebanon?

Dont you think by killing a person's family members you wont make him a terrorist?

Wont this lead to creation of more terrorists who are against U.S.A & Israel?

What do you think?

Do you think the latest clash beteween Israel and the Hezbollah is a ploy by Iran to divert attention away from its nuclear programs?

After all, all the attention around the world is now diverted to the conflict betwen Israel and Hezbollah, and not Iran.

all we need is to create a system modeled on private educators around america and adopt and adhere to those principles that work .
If teachers want to experiment with new techniques try them in the private sector and quit using american children for educational political games to rise out of teaching into the lucrative administration positions.

It is unfortunate that President Bush has broken down and is now pandering to a group that has been against him from the start. The NAACP has turned from the liberator of our African American Community to the perpetuator of its victim and entitlement mentality, and his cool reception just proves that the only reason they invited him was to demonize him. My question is why did he decide to do this after resisting since 2000?

I can't think of any international problem BUSH43/CHENEY have tried to approach diplomatically especially since they dumped the UN when the US Military went into Iraq without its support or the support of more of our NATO allies.

Personally, I have been on the side of the working 2 minimum wage jobs to make ends meet and I managed without having to go on welfare. I can understand the need for unemployment if you get fired, but the rest, I'm not so sure. If you don't have the $$ to get pregnant, then don't. I personally am of the opinion people are lazy and would rather freeload than put the effort into working 2 minimum wage jobs to make ends meet.

The girl was looking for help from us, not cops? Thanx........

Congressman Gil Gutknecht (R-MN) on Iraq June 15:
"Members, now is not the time to go wobbly. Let's give victory a chance."

Congressman Gil Gutknecht on Iraq after actually visiting the place:
""The condition there is worse than I expected. I have to be perfectly candid: Baghdad is a serious problem. Baghdad is worse today than it was three years ago. We learned it's not safe to go anywhere outside of the Green Zone any part of the day. All of the information we receive sometimes from the Pentagon and the State Department isn't always true. What I think we need to do more is withdraw more Americans"

They have lied to me to get her work number ("there's a family emergency, this is her cousin"). They are abusive on the answering machine, and I can only assume when talking to her in person as well ("you are such a liar Miss _______, you really need to learn how to deal with your money") ("People like you shouldn't be taking care of children")
They call 2-3 times every day. We can't answer the phone anymore
I've told them to stop calling because she's away on vacation (true) but they continue to call 2-3 times each day.

Surely this form of harrassment is not legal. Is there any steps we can take to stop this (besides the obvious, paying them... she is not capable at this moment of doing so).
