find out at yahoo news video. i bet he didnt tell the audience that the unemployment rate for minoritys is 9% and his education left behind has been a failure in inner cities and rural areas. or that he plans to cut a numer of programs funding like funding for pell grants so low income kids can go to college. shameful.

I guess in your perfect world parents dint have any responsibilities, and college should be free for all. People dint appreciate that which is given, they appreciate which is earned. Oh by the way, the minority unemployment rate has always been that high or higher and so long as the government continues to cripple the poor with entitlement programs, which removes the incentive to achieve.

9% unemployment you say? i'll blame bubba and his socialist agenda for that one. he made it so easy to be on welfare that people don't WANT jobs because they'll lose money or break even! look up the demogrphics of those on welfare and you may see a direct proportion to those who are unemployed! i will point to all the jobs the illegal immigrants are doing as my exhibit "a". you know, the ones americans won't do?
and don't blame bush for the lack of successes in the public school system. those reponsibilities are under the auspices of the local mayors, most of whom are DEMOCRATS in these cities with large minority populations! besides, why should one group of people get any preferencial treatment over another? i had to drop out of college after 1 1/2 years because my middle-class white parents couldn't afford the tuition for me, my sister and my brother! they didn't qualify for special assistance because they made "too much money".....what a bunch of crap.

I wish the NAACP would tell there people that they supposedly support to get off there lazy a$$ and do something instead of sitting around and whining about how the man is keeping them down while they cash there welfair check for doing nothing. Martin luther king had a dream and it was a good one. Now all the rest of you are sitting around waiting for it to happen.

Why should 1% of my tuition every quarter go to helping inner city kids go to college? Get a loan like most students, or join the military like I did. PAY FOR YOUR OWN DAMN COLLEGE!
